Unfortunately, this older 3-star hotel itself isn't that bad. Excellent staff, average, dated rooms, average to sub-par breakfast, and a dimly lit gym space in the basement. But the incredible noise from nearby bars made sleep impossible, booming a techno beat until 3 a.m. I would never recommend anyone book this hotel until you have noise-cancelling earbuds.

Peterborough downtown

It was unimpressive. The app advertises a fitness room and access to an external gym. I called to verify two days before arriving and he said they have vouchers for Goodlife Fitness. When I got there, there was neither. The toiletries are the cheap disposable ones. The shower head can't be adjusted. But there is a jacuzzi! And paper thin walls.

The staff is incredible!! I would not recommend for anyone with physical disabilities as the parking is nearly a block away. It is a beautiful vintage building and in need of major upkeep/renovation to bring it up to the standard we expect for a room that costs such a high amount. I realize this is a very contradictory revue but the people and the building must remain separate as the people are just amazing but quite frankly the rooms are terrible.
