First, I called to inform the receptionist that my flight was delayed and I may arrive way later than planned. The receptionist was nice and understanding. I ended up arriving earlier than expected and unfortunately the room I booked (1 King) wasn’t available. Disappointing but no big deal. The following day there was a mouse in my room. I called the desk and they responded quickly. The guy they sent to the room was very helpful, unfortunately I forgot his name but he helped me the entire time. It was a frustrating when he called the front desk after moving me to another room and I heard the receptionist ask why was I in a King room when I came from a 2 Queen room. Considering the situation AND the room I initially booked, that was very frustrating. I almost considered going to another hotel. The room I was in (604) was nice but it definitely needs to be cleaned better. There were hairs in the tub and sink. The headboard and couch looked stained. Overall, it was not a great experience.

The hotel is outdated but clean for the most part. We had some experience with someone banging on our door at 1 AM then running but i believe these were kids playing in the hallways. Parking was sketchy and available at a lot block or two over ( for a fee of course) so didn't seem safe if staying out late and have to park your vehicle. Finally, courtesy breakfast is ok but extremely crowded, if you want to get breakfast head down early to avoid the chaos. Staff was always friend, Queen is extremely helpful and courteous.

Friendly staff, good complimentary breakfast, clean rooms. Close walk to Reading Terminal Market was appreciated. Hotel fee for early check in is steep, and bathroom was missing some expected amenities (e.g. shower gel/body soap). I would recommend avoiding the SEPTA public transit if you plan to stay here. The nearest station requires you to cross some areas of town that aren’t the nicest in daylight, and likely unsafe at night. The transit system itself is very rundown and unclean. Overall good hotel for the area.

Stay was decent , the fist night it was a lot of people in the hotel they cut breakfast before the time and did boy put out any food 15 min early. Overall no complaints valet parking was great but they should give the option of self parking for a cheaper price since parking lot is around the corner. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
