Fabulous staff from start to finish. We had a lovely trip and the hotel was perfect. Room was huge with a large kitchenette and walk in closet. Great location and very walkable area. Food was available all around, especially Con Murphy’s right in the lobby. Would definitely come back!

Stay was very good until about 7:30 am in the morning when we were awakened by hammering and drilling which happened sporadically until we left at 9:30 am. We should have been alerted as to early morning construction upon check-in. addition, we booked a king size bed, but received two full size beds instead. Since we were only staying one night, we did not inform the front desk. Hotel is in an excellent location, and convenient to downtown Philadelphia.

I had to switch rooms - in the first one the heat didn't work, and the phone was dead so I had to make trips down to the front desk to communicate. I tried calling the front desk from my personal phone, but couldn't get connected. The room I switched to had lights that weren't working properly in the kitchen. There was a used coffee K cup in the coffee tray. The iron didn't work properly and leaked water all over my jacket. When I checked out they sent an invoice with a charge for $110 for a car I didn't have. Still trying to get that reversed.

The staff were like a ray of sunshine. So friendly, sweet, informative and kind. The location was prime to the Christmas Village and the Barnes Art Museum. This hotel is an older hotel, so there was this musty smell. I wiped the room surfaces down and handles (in all hotels I stay at), and some areas were a tad dirty. But all in all it was a great experience.

My wife and I needed to quickly book a large suite for our family due to our granddaughter’s surgery at CHOP. We had never stayed at Windsor Suites before and didn’t know much about the area… but after 5 nights there, we can honestly say this hotel was FABULOUS — immaculate, friendly, and incredibly convenient during a very difficult week. Our suite was spacious — about 850 sq. ft. — with a balcony, a dining area, a cozy living room, a galley kitchen, and a beautiful bedroom that also opened to the balcony. It gave us the comfort and space we needed to breathe. What truly made the difference was the people: the warm front desk team — Cat and Noella — the coolest longtime bellman, Andrew, and even the valet crew who were always kind and helpful. Every single person made us feel cared for. And yes… they’ve got one of Philly’s top Irish pubs and a great Asian restaurant right downstairs — a much-needed treat! We’d love to return again under happier circumstances, but we’ll always be grateful for how Windsor Suites took care of us when it mattered most.
