⭐ 1-Star Review: Woodspring Suites Philadelphia Northeast
I stayed here for one night with my wife and 19-month-old daughter, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish.
The room had no real curtains—just a thin shade that let in light early in the morning. The bed frame was cheap and rattled every time we moved, and the mattress felt springy and uncomfortable. There were only two very thin pillows and no real blankets provided, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom only had a tiny bottle of shampoo—no soap or lotion.
When I arrived, I was told the elevator wasn’t working, so my room was changed to a much smaller one than I originally booked. The new room didn’t include the sofa bed or extra space I paid for, yet I was told the price would remain the same, which made no sense.
To make things worse, there were no ice machines on the first floor, and when I contacted Hotels.com about the room issue, their representative had to call the front desk twice. The hotel staff member then called me back sounding annoyed that I’d even reached out to Hotels.com.
Overall, the stay felt uncomfortable, unprofessional, and not worth the price. I would not recommend this location, especially for families with young children.
