The location of the property was excellent, located close to virtually everything in the greater Scottsdale area. The location of the unit within the property was also great. We walked out our back door to one of the pool areas, a nice patio type area with tables, hammocks, nice grills, and a fountain. There were two things that were rather disappointing about the unit. One was the television system, if system is the correct word. My wife and I are in our late 70âs, and playing guessing games with a TV was connected only to a streaming service, in the case of this unit Roku I believe, was a very frustrating experience. We emailed multiple times with Palacios, which is the management company for the owner of the unit. If we understood them at all, it sounded like we needed to download an app, set up an account with Roku, and then enter a PIN number in order to access channels like ESPN, Fox News Channel, or any local Phoenix area affiliates, i.e., CBS, NBC, etc. That was not going to happen. The other area of disappointment was an issue with either dirt on the floor, or something in the flooring material itself that made our socks turn black. We actually bought a floor cleaner, used a mop and bucket that were in the room, mopped the floors on three occasions, and still had socks that turned black. Not a pleasant experience.
