- [ ] The place has potential for a nice place to stay but missed the mark. By a lot. The first problem was we were not given the right access code to get in and then got locked out. So we contacted owner and got in but then it was 4:30 pm and check in was 4:00 pm and place was not cleaned yet from previous guests. We put on swimwear and went and hung out at pool and put our suitcases back in our car and called again to share the news about needing cleaning. But calling owner back did not work well as he did not answer and his message box was full. So I messaged him in the Vrbo app and texted him. Many minutes passed by and did not hear anything from him. After 45 min we had not heard anything about the cleaning status. I tried calling again and he answered and said the cleaner was there and will be quick. Ugh I did not say it but was hoping for clean AND quick. But that was not the case. It did not smell clean. The dog hair was vacuumed but was not that clean. Dishes were in the dishwasher. The soap did not dissolve in it so question if it works. The place could use a deep clean! The top of fridge has not been cleaned in a LONG time. There was a broken water container with a filter sitting in the fridge. Gross. The sink drain in my bathroom would just close on its own and not stay open so I had to pop that out for my stay. Has two little cute decks but one deck had a chair back all ripped out.
