This is as much on Hotels.com as it is the quality in but how they handled it wasn't good either. When I booked the room its was listed as "The tempest by Wyndham". not La Quinta. This is really a La Quinta. On top of that I booked what I thought was a 2 queen room and the room was listed as a "double room queen". This is very deceptive as the picture by it shows two queen beds but in reality it's an oversized room with one queen bed. There are also mirrors on both sides of the bed that look like one way mirrors and it's very sketchy. When I got to the hotel the front desk guy was blunt and said the issues with the online listing is not his issue and they only have rooms with one bed in them. I'm having a hard time believing that but took him at his word. Even the picture right now next to the review Im looking at shows two beds. It wasn't handled well and he basically said to call hotels.com. Breakfast was also disappointing. The eggs and sausage warmer don't keep them warm. By the time I scooped the eggs on my plate and sat down the eggs were cold. I didn't end up eating them for fear of not being heated enough. Very deceptive and bate and switch type place. I should have booked the OMNI for $50 more.
