This house was well presented to begin with as far as a clean kitchen and bathrooms. The windows and outdoor space, with the exception of the pool, were not clean and obviously had not been kept up for some time. The outdoor table and chairs and the loungers were covered in bird excrement, and the patio was also not clean. We had to hose down everything and the outdoor cushion covers needed to be laundered by us! When I left a message with Sacha/John the morning after our arrival advising on these problems, in addition to a broken tap in the bathroom, there was no response all day. I called Sacha , whose ads were all over the house(including his phone #), he was very rude to me, saying if I did not like the house I could get out, and told me to communicate with John. John then contacted us and we had several problems to discuss, including the vacuum for the pool, which had to remain in the water at all times! We did not notice the small notice at the back door instructing us to not remove the vacuum and that we would be charged a fee, we had already removed it! This was #4 on a list of pool rules about children. We are a retired couple so we did not read it all. The pool technician came and there was no damage. The window cleaner came. This was a disruption to our enjoyment of the property that day. This house is very dated with an old dishwasher and old bathroom fittings. I cannot recommend it to others.
