Our host Sarah was so welcoming and helpful. This house is amazing. So much fun with all the games and activities both inside and in the yard. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and the house is well stocked with everything you could need for a fun vacation.

The house and amenities were amazing. My family and our neighbors who joined us all appreciated the accommodations and location on a quiet street. It had a great outdoor space with a beautiful heated pool and pickleball court that we used everyday. The pool table inside the house provided plenty of entertainment later in the evening when the sun went down. On top of that, our host (Sarah) was super attentive to our needs and very friendly. It was a perfect house for a couple of Canadian families to escape the start of winter for a week in November.

Our family loved this property! From booking to checking out the host, Sarah, was nothing short of amazing! Her communication was the best I have ever experienced. The property had lots of amenities to entertain a wide age range of kids and adults. We enjoyed the heated pool during the day, and evenings were spent having friendly competitions of shuffleboard and pool. We had ten people in our group and the house still felt spacious. We will definitely book with Sarah again in the future.

Amazing property and fantastic host! The whole process was easy and communication was great from Sarah. The backyard is perfect for kids, with endless activities, only to head inside with even more to do. Supplies were in great shape for all the activities. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. This property was exactly as advertised! From the pool table inside to the saltwater pool, shaded backyard areas, basketball hoop, and putting green — everything was perfect. The spacious layout truly made it feel like a private resort. The location is also fantastic, with shopping, restaurants, and a Walmart just down the street for groceries. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely come back!

Great Family Getaway!!!

We rented the home for our son’s spring break and it did not disappoint! The house was equipped with everything you can think of for cooking, hosting, entertainment and comfort. The kids (teens) had a great time utilizing the pool, we had many bocce ball tournaments, putt-putt tournaments and basketball. The host was easy to contact and checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory throughout the stay. We will definitely recommend this to all our family and friends!

Amazing home, well stocked.. luxury at its finest! Sarah, our host, was amazing at making sure we had everything we needed. Terrific Christmas getaway!

We stayed at two different Modern Retreats properties in Scottsdale over the Christmas season. The host, Sarah, also allowed us to tour a 3rd property (also a beautiful place) that no one was in to see it as a possibility for a future trip. Both houses we stayed in were terrific - spotlessly clean, spacious, well stocked, fabulous backyards with pickleball, a pool, hot tub, fire pit, mini golf, etc. The layout and amenities at both houses were great for large families, couples travelling together or a girls getaway!!The kitchens are roomy and well stocked with all appliances and dishes you need for home entertaining/dining.Sarah was a fantastic host. Very attentive and responsive to even the smallest questions.Both houses were beautifully decorated for the holiday season as well.Would highly recommend!!

We loved the house and it had everything you could ask for. We have rented many houses before and this was the first one we didn't have to run out and get items like paper towels and toilet paper as there is usually the bare minimum provided. Sarah was very helpful and checked in to make sure everything was going well with our trip and asked how she could make it better. Best communication we have ever had and highly recommend her and the property.

Dream yard

The property truly felt like a home and not a rental. All beds were very comfortable, furniture and decor fit the home nicely. We traveled with 3 kids and not one complained about being bored playing endless shuffle board but primarily taking advantage of everything the yard has to offer. Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with as she checked in to see how things were going or when I had a question she was quick to respond. We also traveled with my mother and having that 2nd master at the opposite end of the home was nice privacy for all especially when we stayed up late. Yes, there are some rules to follow just as with any rental but I appreciate that the house is not a party house or a party neighborhood. We still had an incredible vacation and 100% I would book again. You will not regret this property!

Exceptional property down to every detail

We gathered our four adult children for a week to catch up since Holidays didn’t fit all schedules. This home was perfect. We weren’t looking for a daily schedule of activities, and with this world class backyard we didn’t need to! Pickle Ball court, putting green, awesome pool, table top shuffleboard and regulation pool table took care of that. The manager, Sarah, was so great and very welcoming. She was on top of any minor questions we had immediately. I have been renting from vrbo for almost twenty years. This was far and away the best experience ever.

Lots to do

If it's activities you're looking for to keep your family busy, then this place has it. No shortage of fun things for kids and adults to do. The home is very clean and well equipped. The neighbourhood was very quiet and safe. There were a few small issues with equipment, but everything was dealt with promptly by the host. Would definitely recommend this place to families looking to spend time together yet have the space to get some alone time. Read the contract carefully, as we discovered that no friends or family outside of your registered guests are allowed on the property. This was the only major disappointment of our Christmas vacation.

Favorite VRBO

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed here for a week. It was everything we had hoped it would be - it was a lovely oasis for our time in Scottsdale. Sarah walked us through every step of the process and kept in touch while we were there to check on us and make certain we had all that we needed. We have been blessed to stay in quite a number of VRBOs and this by far was everyone's favorite. We spent the majority of our time outside while at the house. The heated pool was a delight. The beds are all so very comfortable. Close to all types of shopping and restaurants. Our kids are ready to plan our next visit to this amazing home. Hope we are blessed enough to go back!

This was a true winner property. The pre arrival communication was clear and timely. Getting acclimated to everything upon arrival was very easy. Very clean and tidy. Scottsdale Stay

This was an excellent stay in Scottsdale! The host was very gracious and communicated all information the whole way through! The property included the fire pit, heated pool, hot tub, bocce ball, 9 hole putting green, pickle ball, pool table, and basketball! Practically a Samsung in every room, including the patio! If you’re considering any kind of stay, short or long, this is the place! Once there you won’t want to leave. No need to!! This vacation was a great 5 day escape! Thanks Sarah!!

5-Star Family Experience

Perfect family getaway with activities for all ages. Great 4 day/night stay and we actually didn't have time to experience all of the available amenities but I will add a few highlights below. Outside - Large patio and pool (very clean), putting green, and pickle ball were a hit. Nice grill and fire pit as well. Inside - Spacious layout with pool table, shuffle board, open kitchen, living room and nice bedrooms. Quality Furnishings - A very important feature for us is to Not feel like a rental property. Nice clean home and all furniture was of very good quality from comfortable beds, couches, outdoor furniture, appliances/electronics, sporting equipment, ... Nice location, quiet neighborhood and easy access to shopping or a visit to Old Town. More than enough for our 5 adults + 3 grandchildren. I would Absolutely Recommend this property and look forward to staying again!

The best Home we have stayed in!

I would highly recommend staying at this property. The house is beautiful, it's at a great location. The property manager/owner was extremely responsive to everything that we asked about and needed. It made our stay so much more enjoyable. I also cannot thank them enough for actually having extra toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dishwasher tablets, and laundry detergent for us to use. Not having to go out and purchase those things was such a huge convenience and one that I've actually never experienced before. We had our family and my parents who stayed and we all enjoyed it very much. My parents enjoyed staying in the far bedroom away from the other bedrooms from the kids so they could have a great night's sleep. The kitchen was great and we cooked meals in there every night. We had everything we needed. We also appreciated that there was a little bit of extra stuff such as oil and salt so we didn't have to go out and also purchase those. Just little things like that Make a big difference when you're staying in a home for a week's vacation. Our children greatly enjoyed the pool and the pool table. It was too hot for us to use the hot tub but our kids also loved the golf and basketball. Some thing to do for everyone and I was able to work at the desk in the bedroom this week which was really nice to have. We will be back.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We stayed here for our family’s spring break trip and loved this home so much! We have 3 very active kids and the backyard was perfect for keeping our kids busy with the pool and hot tub, pickle ball, basketball, bocce ball and yard games. The interior of the home was beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need. Very clean and well maintained home! Host was very welcoming and easy to communicate with and even had a list of local restaurants, golf and activities which we really appreciated! We would definitely stay here again!
