Since the purpose was mostly for my mother, I asked her to share her experience. âThis Thanksgiving holiday was a joyous experience that I will not soon forget! Not only did our small nuclear family have a rare opportunity to enjoy each other's company and celebrate our favorite holiday together but it was made even more magical by our stay in a beautiful, modern, well-appointed home that was both spacious and comfortable!
The living area was defined by an attractive conversational seating area which was situated next to a grand sectional sofa that could comfortably accommodate 6-8 people while watching movies or TV shows on the large TV screen!
The kitchen-dining area was centred on a generously sized, beautiful stone island that had seating for 4, with a long, rustic wooden table and chairs providing additional seating. The kitchen was well appointed with stainless steel appliances; a 6 burner gas stove, double oven (convection settings!) and a large, double refrigerator.
The 3 bedrooms were large, comfortable and inviting! The mattresses and pillows were soft but firm and quite comfortable. The deep, soaker tub in the primary suite was a godsend! I also appreciated that the toilet was in a separate water closet from the other facilities. It provided an extra measure of privacy that is not often found in other homes.â
âBONUS: There was a beautifully finished laundry room (that supplied laundry detergent) and a new, state of the art washer and dryer for your added convenience!
I enjoyed every minute of each day that I spent in this welcoming environment! I would highly recommend it!
DISLIKES: PLEASE WASH THE LINENS, TOWELS AND BLANKET/THROWS THOROUGHLY BETWEEN VISITS!! There were unpleasant odors on the sheets and pillowcases that made sleep somewhat uncomfortable. Also, there weren't enough facecloths.â
