If you can get over the check-in experience, you made a good decision going with the Rodeway Inn. The worker there wasn’t rude, they just had absolutely no people skills once so ever. They were probably dead tired as they most likely aren’t contracting cleaners, they do it themselves. That being said, my room was clean, plenty of room, AC worked, hot water worked. Mini Fridge, separate sink, TV. Most of all it was safe and quiet - compared to other motels I’ve stayed at in Phoenix. Took me 10 mins to walk to Old Town Scottsdale.
