Location is great. Vrbo is ranch themed. Enjoyed the convenience of being out in the country but close to shopping. Chris was very friendly and helpful.
Great location, quiet, Private. Very accurately depicted on the ad to what it is in reality. Host was very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again! Our pets liked the area that is associated with the Casita, lots of room to roam around. My wife actually made friends with the horse that the host has on his ranch
House was very spacious and comfortable had all the amenities from bath sheets to pots and pans. Everything was nice and clean, check in process was easy Chris was very inviting. About 30 mins from Scottsdale but thereâs plenty to do in the immediate area. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still close enough to enjoy city activities.
I had an absolutely incredible stay! The property could not have been more beautiful and the owners could not have been more friendly! Extremely communicative and responsive which I appreciated so much and this was my first time renting which makes it even more likely that I will do so again! There were even horses on the property which was so amazing and they were so friendly. The house itself was beautiful and clean, we had just everything we could have needed and I thank them so much for having us! I would 100% recommend staying here if youâre on the fence about it! :)
I did not want to leave. Chris & Rebecca's Cowboy Bungalow is just what you need if you want to get away from the city, but still be within a decent distance from everything. If you want to experience a little bit of AZ country life but not go full rural, book this place now. This would be ideal for local Phx folks to have an awesome "staycation." I'd definitely mention it to my local family & friends!
It's located just off the beaten path--literally on dirt roads once you turn off the main street. I loved it! No bright lights from the city at night, & although you may hear a bit of road noise in the distance, it's not what I'd call disturbing in the slightest. More like white noise. While we were there, it was mostly the desert wind, the wind chimes, & the occasional rustling from Princess & Lucy. Who? Oh, they're the mama & baby horse duo you will be able to see from the 2 kitchen windows!! We loved looking out at them in the dark at night & in the mornings. Those sweet souls were amazing to live next to for the duration of our stay. What an experience for folks who live in a condo in a SoCal suburb.
The bungalow had everything we needed to be comfortable & cozy. We made breakfast on the stove, had plenty of fridge space, kcup assortment. The water dispenser was awesome--we didn't have to lug bottled water in. Our first night there, we enjoyed some hot cocoa made from the keurig after coming in from the cold desert night. Chris suggested we check out the Buffalo Chip Saloon about 10 minutes away. We had some great BBQ & enjoyed listening to the music & watching folks dancing & riding the mechanical bull. There was also live bull riding.
The shower upstairs is amazing. Water comes out nice & hot! We loved the awesome rainfall-type shower head. Plenty of towels were available as well as shampoo & body wash. I appreciated not having to unpack those items! Although we didn't need it, there was a desk to use. Plenty of closet & dresser space. The bed was nice & comfy for 2 adults & there was an additional couch & TV for us to use. The wall unit AC/heater kept us plenty warm through the night--our pets loved the heat. Also, the balcony upstairs gives you a gorgeous view of the desert sunrise.
I would not hesitate one bit to come back here. Chris & Rebecca are the kindest, most hospitable hosts I've ever had. They're super friendly & want to make sure you're happy & have everything you need. All was clean, uncluttered, nice decor... A+! 5*! 10/10!
