Size & view of room is great, however it's tired. You get a blast of musty/moldy smell everytime you enter the room. Stains on the cushion of the chairs. Service is ok, not the friendliest. Location good for those who wish to enjoy the theme park, safari and also Grandworld. Swimming was huge. The sea too rough for any swim (early sept) The shuttle bus to the park runs every half hour.

The rooms are old and smelt mouldy and our room was so smelly but they changed us to a different room and it was better… the buffet dinner food was always cold which was disappointing as there weren’t many other options for dinner around the area.. breakfast was good and the place is beautiful and great for children, we also got breakfast to go on our last day with our airport transport which was appreciated

Beautiful hotel located on a gorgeous oceanfront beach. The room: nice and clean. Little details that we like: provided sandals for the room & beach, the laundry line to hang up our wet swim suits. The pool: nice and big The restaurants: the beach bistro has a nice view. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options and all were delicious. Afternoon tea: a nice bonus extra The staff: friendly, courteous & helpful. The person who checked us in was knowledgeable. He spent time explaining things in details with us. The airport transfers and bus were convenient and made it easy to commute bt places.

Really good place to relax.

Stayed all over the island but this place is Heaven! Pool and beach are amazing and the food is really good. The breakfast buffet is incredible. Get the NZ Lamb from the Beach Bistro. Golf Course is tough. Vinwonders was great for the kids - no line up and good rides. Highly recommend
