The reviews posted are not accurate. Hotel run down and room had strong smell of mothballs. Left immediately to another hotel no refund but didnât care. Sick that evening from the smell. This hotel should not receive any more than 1 Star
There was no water, the air conditioning didn't work, and I couldn't take a shower for two days, so I moved to a different hotel, knowing that I wouldn't get a refund.
Staff - Front desk receptionist (I think Mindy was her name) was stern and did not treat us with courtesy. She always spoke with an elevated tone and for some reason we found her to be racist. (She was seen hugging and talking nicely to some folks from Europe in the same hotel). We had also requested the room service person to change the pillow cover and bedsheet (there was some spots on pillow cover and hair on bedsheet) as soon as we got the room but all she did was raised her voice and said "just cleaned no clean again!!".
Amenities: Only two bath towels were provided for the entire room per day. No hand towels or any extra towels. Worst of it all, towels provided on one day had holes in it. There is no phone in the room to call room service and the air conditioner took forever to cool down the room. We could not even leave the air conditioner ON while going out as they said they would impose a fine by doing so. Note: In spite of getting a room change, we still had the above issues in the new room as well.
I think I have enough reasons to deter me from never ever staying at this property again. I would want to be compensated in some way or the other.
Staff were nice. Location very good. Few steps to patong beach and very near bangla street. Rooms were clean with daily housekeeping. Only negative is no rollaway bed provided even if we paid for extra person. We stayed for 3 nights. We requested to transfer to a room with 2 beds but was denied.
We unable to check in to the hotel the first night because the night porter couldn't find the booking after a lot of explaining and talking the porter finally found the booking but there were no rooms the hotel was full!!!! So eventually after a number of telephone calls he took us across the road to a different hotel where we checked in for the night. This was approximately 2:30 am and we were shattered from traveling. So I don't know who was at fault the hotel or hotels.com I DONT THINK I WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN!!!!
