you had to walk up 3 flights of stairs, that were not lit, garbage from the time you entered the entrance. walked through a balcony area where people lived and walked over drying clothes. it had a 30 gallon garbage can filled with water in the shower area, with a sign stating conserve water. the television was on the floor because if you put it on the dresser, the dresser would fall apart to the floor. i stayed for 1 1/2 hours, waiting to get moved, then Hotels.com tells me to stay for 3 more hours ao they can contact manager of the hotel, to see if i am getting a full return. SERIOUSLY?? also was told not to take pictures by Hotels.com did not need for proof. she offered me 50.00 gift for what i was going through, but still havent seen my full return
You get what you pay for. It's cheap but small, with older infrastructure. It was hard to find, as there is no reception, but the owner, runs New Era Tailor, which is below the unit, but in a weird entrance (accessible as back door for a bar and multiple other units), and I randomly ran into him on the street trying to sell me a suit. On the plus, it's in the heart of the beach and bar scene, with shopping and great food nearby.
It is a big No No! The building is at the opposite of being safe and secure. Someone, somewhere didn't do his job by letting this kind of room being displayed on their site. It should be ranked as an 1/2 star guesthouse and NEVER as a 2 and a half stars.
