We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Views are amazing and for anyone who loves scenery and nature this is a lovely place to stay.
Stayed here for business. A bit run down and could do with a refurbishment but I think itâs a pub that hikers and ramblers stay in due to its location. Smelt a bit musty, large portions of food but average at best basic pub food no healthy options. Room was basic, very tiny bathroom, dirty towel. Bed was comfortable but would I stay again for working away? Probably not.
fantastic location especially if you get the weather and manage to get outside for evening meal. Room was nice and clean and good size (family room) food was superb and definitely value for money.
The room was lovely and bright and temperature was good too - lots to choose from for breakfast - my only disappointment was the cost of meals at the restaurant and the first night we werenât given a kids menu so paid for a full adult meal for an 8 yr old - Iâm not tight by any means but ÂŁ300 for 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals with only main course and one drink was a bit too much - however the area and staff were amazing - will stay again
What a beautiful location- the drive down from the moor at sunset is amazing. Great staff, breakfast is a feast for your stomach and your eyes because the views from the dining room or outside decking are stunning
Last minute booking for us due to current accommodation being cancelled due to wild fires.
Location was beautiful, we were so glad we had booked, staff were lovely and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble, they even let us use the phone as we had no phone signal.
We had an evening meal and breakfast and food was good and reasonably priced, bar area was relaxed.
Our room was just what we needed for a comfortable nights sleep. Only issues were the toilet kept running when flushed but my husband was able to stop it and we reported to staff and they were going to look into it. The shower was ok but not very hot, little bit disappointing but not horrible.
Check in and check out was easy.
A well located hotel for the moors, very comfortable accommodation, only downside is that you can hear the people in the next room when they use the bathroom, overall a nice place.
We have stayed at White Horse Farm Inn before and have enjoyed our time there. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a lovely village inn.
It is a typical village pub of it's age and time. It has the most spectacular scenery as it's stands on a plateau up the hill on the road leading to Rosedale Chimneys. Absolutely beautiful!
Our room was the very large family one so we had plenty of space.
The staff were fantastic. Friendly Yorkshire folk, nothing was too much trouble.
The food was well cooked and there was a lot of it. (Smaller portions can be asked for) which we had.
Overall we were not disappointed and we would stay here again.
A beautiful part of North Yorkshire. Thank you
We stayed one night.
The inn is perched up right on the edge of the moors with some stunning views.
It is a 2 min walk down the hill to the beautiful hamlet or up the very steep hill to the ruins of the old iron ore furnaces.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic we would book again.
