Greeted at reception by great friendly staff, i had an issue with the TV remote not working and sadly using a different remote did not work however this was fine as i was shown where the buttons on the TV were so not a big deal. The floor tiling in the bathroom needs a bit of attention but overall a pleasant stay.

Kitchen facility for meal preparation and cleanup. Multiple bed arrangements. Very close to the beach, water rentals, attractions and shopping. Loved the kayaking, walking trails and the Edwin Fox Maritime Museum and the Ferry ride to Wellington. Very beautiful beach and harbour. Wanted to stay longer.

Perfectly located in the middle of the main street within walking distance of everything including the beautiful harbour. Was looked after with an upgrade and early check in with a huge swim scheduled for the following day. Nice and quiet with comfortable bed too.

I liked this motel because I did not have to walk up the hill to get to my accommodation. Shops were around the corner and yeah it was comfortable and clean.

Not good for families specially if you have kids

The staff were unfriendly and rude, which made our stay uncomfortable from the start. Guests are expected to clean their own rooms, and there’s no room service at all, which felt below basic standards. At one point, my three-year-old son poked holes in a couple of coffee milk pods. Instead of addressing it calmly, the manager confronted us in an aggressive and accusatory way, claiming we were disrespectful to the staff. It was an upsetting and unnecessary escalation that only made things worse.

Property was okay, but I paid for carpark space (was included with my Expedia booking) and was told I couldn't use the motel carpark and would have to park on the street (timed parking). The motel had a few un-used spaces for the night!
