The hotel is at a great location but it is showing its age. Our room smelled badly of smoke and there were years of dirt in the corners of the bathroom and vents. The AC sounded like a wounded animal but did work. Best part is the balconies. Very spacious.

Requested to change from first room because it looked like blood stains on sheets. Second room had clean sheets. Smoke alarm not even connected in either room. Two punch holes in one of the walls in the first room. The chair was extremely stained and looked too dirty to sit in both rooms. Very disappointed. Only plus was the front desk person was polite.

I want to start by saying that I don’t feel right giving this hotel a bad review because they are currently under remodel and therefore trying to do better. In the meantime, I hope within the remodel they get new beds that do not feel like cement. When we first arrived we went back down to the front desk to ask for a couple more towels because we were in a room with a jacuzzi and I feel he gave us a harder time than necessary. As if grabbing us a couple of towels was an inconvenience to him. We also asked for an extra pillow because they gave us three pillows for a king sized bed and we were denied. We made the man aware that our fireplace was not working and he assured us that everything in the room works and that he would send maintenance to check it out. No one ever came to check on anything. The woman at the front desk, on the other hand, was much nicer, I had misplaced my room key and she made me a new one without any fuss. The elevator closest to our room was out of order and so therefore most times we just took the stairs so prepare for that. The breakfast every morning is the same, salty sausage, bland eggs, and undercooked potatoes. The pool room is dark, dingy, and depressing. Every time we went down to the pool room there were cigarette butts left by the hot tub and never got cleaned the whole week. They do provide floaties and life jackets though. The balcony had a great view of “The Island”. The hotel is in nice proximity to everything, we walked to most places

This establishment was under renovations during our stay so I can’t really rate it fairly. I will say that the price was phenomenal and all we really did was sleep shower and have a quick breakfast there. Overall, for what we paid, I would definitely book here again.

Unclean room, unclean hallways, bad strong smell, dirty laundry and bugs in tub, room had campground bunk beds and a unmade queen bed and no chairs! We booked a king room. Couldn't breathe from the oder so i only got one pic and ran out. We reported it and got a signed invoice from clerk showing we didn't stay! Now they refuse to give me a refund!!! Not only am I upset with the Hotel but also Hotels.com!! I provided proof of non-stay and now told no refund! How can anyone trust this site from now on to provide accommodations as booked?!! This needs to be made right! 9 hours of driving and arrived to a nightmare!!! This review page will not allow me to post my pic!

The floors are disgustingly dirty.One elevator works in the whole hotel(6 floors) and one ice maker in the building.Asked to moved because of my handicap husband and they didn’t try to accommodate us.

We didn’t visit the pool, it was too cool to get in the water. Our room was not clean enough, carpet was old and looked dirt, I didn’t want to walk on bear foot. The room had a weird smell. It really needs an update. Carpet in the hallway was filthy.

Pros were the friendly and responsive staff and blow dryer. Cons was how filthy the place was, in definite need of upgrades/repairs and new carpet. Beds were HORRIBLE with visible dips in it from broken springs. Door on bathroom was all torn up from an animal scratching to get out, water damage on cheap particle board. Non smoking room requested but smelled terribly of smoke when we entered. We would not recommend nor go back.

The room had no toilet paper holder, the light fixtures had bugs, the pool was freezing and the jacuzzi was broken, and the hotel smelled of mildew. For a weekend stay a $200+ per night this was unacceptable!
The molding in the hallways wasn’t there.

Gap under the door made every noise in the hallways audible.
