The resort had great amount of space in our one bedroom. However, the whole resort is very outdated. The game room had less than 50 percent of games in working order. Fitness room didn’t get opened until 20 mins or so after we called. Also strange to pay a resort fee when you don’t get any room service & have to take care of garbage. Have to say the view out patio is beautiful, even in the off season. Nice location not far from town but quiet.

Very clean townhomes, plenty of space for us to stretch out, cost is better than hotels in the area, 5 minute drive to The Island and grocery store. There are 2 pharmacies down the street. GrubHub drivers were not familiar with the Sunrise Ridge resort. Driver could not find our townhome on his GPS. It was a very busy area for New Year’s. Plenty of restaurants in the area but you have 1 hour wait. I recommend Reagan’s House of Pancakes, Sunliner Diner and Hatfield & McCoy’s dinner theater. It was windy and cold so the dinner theater is very popular. We didn’t go to the outdoor attractions like the roller coaster and the gran prix cars.

We loved everything about our stay. We had a one bedroom unit with a gorgeous view of the Smoky Mountains from a spacious balcony. The location was perfect for our needs as visiting Dollywood during their Christmas season was the primary reason for our trip. It was so easy to go back and forth to Dollywood. Soaking in the outdoor hot tub at night in December was a highlight. Although the furniture could use some updating, the room was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed in order to eat breakfast, have snacks and even cooked a meal one night. We look forward to returning to this resort.

We dealt with ants. We should’ve been moved to another unit, but we were told “when it gets warm the bugs come out” and were given a can of Raid. The Raid has a strong smell because we constantly had to spray flood of ants in the kitchen. Needless to say we weren’t able to cool. So we left a day early. The staff sent an apology text, but there was no movement or compensation. Everyone was very nice though, we loved it there. It’s just a shame there was not movement in our complain outside of Raid.

This time share property was perfect and our 4th floor view of the dollywood fireworks was an awesome treat every night. We have rented cabins for years but they were always covered in cobwebs (even the one built last year) but this place was clean even on the balcony. We will stay here from now on.
