So cozy, super clean, comfortable cabin.Loved it. I stayed here for 5 days with my daughter and we explored the area.Amazing landscape all around.Thank you.
The host was slow in responding to questions and explained they had been out of town. I had to request instructions on access to the house and received those after check in time. The listing implied the house was private. It was not. Itâs in a neighborhood with other houses on every side. The parking was precarious. A small gravel drive at the top of a steep slope. There were large hickory trees that dropped nuts on the roof that kept us awake all night. They were also dropping on our vehicles and we covered the windshields with blankets to prevent a broken windshield. We were worried about dents in the vehicles and there was no where else to park. The bathrooms both had mold in the shower/tub. We were so unhappy with the situation we requested a refund for 2 nights and only stayed one. The host was quick to respond to our concerns and agreed to a refund for the other 2 nights we had reserved. The rest of the house was clean and comfortable but we wished we had known about the parking and the lack of privacy.
The location was perfect. The beds were a bit small but we made it work. We had 4 adults and 1 child and living room area didnât have enough space for everyone to sit comfortably on the couch. Probably better for a couple of adults and kids. I would suggest they purchase some better pots and pans. We needed up eating out most of time because it was hard to cook at the cabin. Coffee maker wasnât great either. But location was perfect and we enjoyed our visit and all the time at Callaway Gardens.
It was perfect. In an area where most spaces are rustic, this location is updated, modern, and comfortable. We were so grateful for the two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor THEN the beautiful loft upstairs which I used as my office during our stay. The design of the space is beautiful and everything was so clean. The beds slept very well and the couch will suck you in. only one quirky thing- the light switch for the living room is upstairs in the loft. Took us a while to find it but we did and all was well. The owners are kind and accommodating. They answered every question in a timely manner. I will definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay here. The home was clean and nicely decorated. It had all the kitchen necessities to cook a nice breakfast. We went out to lunch at a local restaurant, visited Callaway Gardens and went for a nice hike in the state park. Will definitely look to stay here again when we visit the area in the future.
Our family stayed for two nights in Pine Mountain while visiting Callaway Gardens and experiencing the Fantasy in Lights/Christmas Village event. The rental house was cozy and comfortable for our family. 15 mins to Callaway made it convenient.
My family and I stayed here during a weekend trip to Callaway Gardens and the Wild Animal Safari. The rental was very clean, had 2 bathrooms and 3 queen beds (which worked well for us), a nice kitchen, and a great outdoor space with a fire pit and grill. I absolutely loved the huge window in the living area and there was a small lighted tree, Christmas placemats and Christmas scented candles out. My 16-month old grandson was with us and I was worried about the stairs, but the owner had a baby gate at the property, so that was a big plus! I was also pleased that there were portable fans and space heaters in the closets.
Adorable Cottage! We enjoyed our stay so much. The location is very convenient and close to Callaway Gardens and downtown. The upstairs loft bedroom was my favorite with tons of books-so peaceful. If you are traveling with older adults just note the stairs are very short in depth so may be difficult for some. The resort area was very quiet but we were closer to other cabins than I could tell from pictures. The owner was AMAZING, answering my questions immediately.
Wonderful and quiet getaway next door to FDR State Park
We loved our stay, as it was super close to FDR State Park and Callaway gardens. The cottage has everything you need and is very cozy. Highly recommended!
Donât skip this one!
The house has everything you need for a relaxing getaway from everything. We spent so much time by the fire out back. Gorgeous place, and since we travel to GA regularly, we will be adding it to the list of go-to spots.
