mini golf vacation

It was a great location in the house was very comfortable. We would definitely and probably will rent it again. The only disappointment was that the hot tub did not work and they were not able to fix it while we were there.

Golfing Trip to Pinehurst Mom and three of her sons!

We loved the property - it was quaint and yet spacious and it was so inviting - as if we were staying at a home that had many happy memories there! The hot tub was perfect and the pool - which we did not choose to heat - was a great cold plunge after rounds of golf! I would highly recommend it - it is within a short walk of the Pinehurst resort. The neighborhood was beautiful and we walked to town for dinner. Perfect! (Note there is a property with the same address in Southern Pines - that was confusing at first.)

Great Location, Amenities, Professionalism

My golf group (8 35+ year olds) stayed here Thursday -Sunday. The location of the property is less than 10 minutes to the Talamore courses and less than 5 to the Pinehurst Resort. There are 6 beds, so 2 of the guys were ok with bringing air mattresses down. Amenities were spot on. Pool was nice and cool, which may have been from all the rain we got prior to our trip. The hot tun was perfect for our older guys who wanted to loosen their backs out before playing. The back patio was great for conversation. Can’t say enough good things about the host. Very responsive and polite. I would 100% book this house again.

BEWARE! Property could be nice but I cannot recommend this property.

This property could be nice but I cannot recommend due to the Rental company that manages it. When we arrived, the outside area was very dirty, including the pool itself. There was a discarded cigar, dirty whisky glass on the patio, an empty soda bottle in the hot tub, green mold on brick area. A young man did come out to the house a couple of hours after we called & had already cleaned the area and the pool. The trash bins on the side of the house were already full. Friday night - we had no hot water. The propane tank had been left on from the previous tenant. We were told that they could not have any propane delivered as it was a holiday weekend. We had to boil water to wash dishes. They did offer options to go to another house for showers or a refund if we found another house, but it was Memorial weekend & we could not find another house and did not have time to move as we already had plans for the area we were in. We did go down the street for showers, but we could not stay at that house as we had a disabled person with us, and they could not manage the stairs and all of the bedrooms were upstairs. We also rented 175 Midland for amenities (pool, hot tub, and fireplace) and the house that was offered had none of these amenities. Then I was charged $375.00 for heating the pool when they already knew that it could not be heated as the propane was empty. To wrap it up - it took 24 days to receive the security deposit back after numerous contact attempts.

Fun Weekend with Couples

We had a great stay and love the property. This was our second year in a row staying at the house. Wives loved the location for easy access to the Pinehurst Spa and the husbands loved the proximity to the golf courses played. We all loved the house!!

Would stay again!

This place was so big, we didn't even venture into every room. Gorgeous master bath. The pool is deep on one side, so that may steer you toward or away from certain pool games. The hot tub is in good condition and even has a "clean" mode. Well-stocked kitchen with spacious and new fridge. The extra sheets/blankets were easy to find in the same room as the trundle. The two box fans came in handy to isolate people who did not have the same bedtimes.

Milestone birthday week

My husband and I celebrated a milestone birthday at Pinehurst. Our home was lovely and spacious, and the backyard covered patio and pool were beautiful. We had two issues with this property. First, when we arrived, I inspected the home inside and outside. I checked the hot tub and found it to be quite dirty. I contacted the rental agency and they had someone clean it 2 days later. Our second issue was the main floor AC unit didn’t work at all. The agency called a repair man but they couldn’t replace the unit right away, so they brought in box fans to circulate the air. This helped somewhat, but the house was very warm during our stay. Needless to say, we spent a good deal of time in the pool! Overall, our vacation was great, the weather was perfect and the agency did all they could to make us comfortable.

What a wonderful and quiet place!!!!

We were in town for the Tyson and Jones Buggy Festival in Carthage. This was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet and the amenities that came along with the property were amazing. After a long, hot, and exhausting Saturday, we came back and enjoyed the pool. Everything is close by and easy to get some food. Marcus was a great Host and we will stay again at one of his properties.

A perfect place for 5 friends to get away for a spa weekend. Very clean, quiet and plenty of room, and everything we needed for cooking. Although it’s on a Main Street, it sets back far enough that there’s no road noise.

A Pinehurst Thanksgiving

This may seem exaggerated but this was the best-ever Thanksgiving for my family of 8. Making it so was the size of the beautiful house, its location, and the fully appointed kitchen accouterments. Family members strolled the beautifully Xmas decked out village & Carolina Hotel. Many played golf & golf frisbee close by. There was ample room for everyone. We all agreed it was the best/most memorable Thanksgiving holiday ever and this was the perfect house for it!! It was wonderful...5 stars Thank you so much!! The fortunate grandparents
