Cute place. It needs a deadbolt and privacy sheers (privacy without blocking the sunlight), but the update is well done overall. This was my first time in the Pine Top area and my main complaint was the traffic. I was expecting a walkable town, but the traffic is so insane that youâd risk your life to attempt to cross the street. They need to implement traffic control similar to Ruidoso if they want to build a strong tourist economy. But if youâre looking for hiking and wilderness day activities, this would make a great home base.
Gorgeous renovation at this property! Just a beautiful room with a lovely fireplace, comfy couch and big king bed. We loved it especially the easy check-in and out. Would definately stay again.
the room was clean. My only complaint/suggestion would be maybe add a couple of more towels. We stayed for two days and there was only one towel per person for both days. Also, a dish towel would be nice.
Beautiful location in the trees, cute clean room. Only disappointment was no one on site and the room was switched from the one I thought I was getting on the site- no kitchen or walk in shower which we kinda need due to health issues
We stayed in August and this trip. Room 10 last time and room 15 both showers filled up and did not drain. Very annoying. I'm usually not a complainer. Everything else was great we have stayed in prior years without any problems.
The room was nice and clean and recently upgraded...the problem was NO HOT WATER!! I dont know what happened but I had to take cold showers... not vey pleasant
We stopped here on our way to Las Vegas. The room was very clean and new. Smart TV was a nice bonus! Enjoyed the large jet tub after a long day of travel. You can sit outside on your porch. We did hear road traffic as it is right on the main highway. Dog friendly. There are places to walk your dog next to and behind your cabin. You do not check in at the office. You will get a room code when it is check in time. We did not meet anyone who was âin chargeâ of the facility. For the price, you canât go wrong. We went to the little âlakeâ that is about a mile away to walk. Sadly, it is almost dried up due to drought conditions. It is still a nice park to get outside and get some fresh air and exercise. Restaurants are very close by.
I showed up to my room (12) and the door was open. There were towels on the floor and the trash was full. I figured I might have made a mistake so I go to the front office and there is nobody there. I call the number and I get sent to voicemail right away. I go back to the room and my code does not work. Absolutely horrible experience. I ended up staying at another hotel. I'll be asking for a full refund in the morning.
The check in process was not what I expected but not in a bad way. Office looked like storage unit, number on the window to call no answer. Finally reached the maintenance man. He said he would call the person who can let me in. Apparently no staff on site around 6 pm. Someone called me gave me my room number 12 and gave me the lock code for the room. Didnât work tried several times. Finally worked and the lady on the phone was pleasant. Nice room really liked it but there was no workspace as I was on a business trip. Liked the fireplace and jacuzzi tub. I come back again now I know what to expect.
Room was very nice with a small table and chairs right outside the door to sit and enjoy the cool weather. Only complaint is the pillows were not comfortable for us and bed frame rattled every time my husband flopped over. It was nice having a mini fridge and microwave. There was even a small lap blanket!
