Our stay was overpriced due to a concert being held, which was expected. However the cleanliness of the room was absolutely horrible. The room smelled like damp old sitting water, I killed a total of 3 bugs in the room, the pull out sofa had food on the mattress and underneath the pullout sofa was tons of food crumbs and stains. I woke up itching and had a bug bite on my leg. Needless to say we were going to check out early and end our stay. When I went to speak to the manager she refused to refund my canceled day said I needed to change my reservation days before and she would send housekeeping to my room. I told her we were not staying in this disgusting hotel and showed her all the photos I took. She quickly refunded my 2nd night. She was rude and unprofessional didn’t even apologize for the disgusting stay. I should have asked to speak with another manager, I feel like they should have refunded my whole stay. Terrible hotel and would never recommend them to anyone.

Very unhappy with how our checkout experience went. Of course they hold funds for parking and incidentals— come to find out I am being charged for a “late checkout” manager said someone was in my room until 1:15 in the afternoon when I was clearly out of the room and gone. Manager was very accusatory saying it had to be someone else that was staying with me, it was myself and boyfriend who they could clearly look and cameras and watch us exit the building around 11am. Manager said someone else could have been given keys to my room, they give out multiple keys for certain situations and basically said it has to be him because it was a man in the room..Again explained to her I was given one set of keys— which I have on person currently with the sleeve because there was a QR code needed to get out of the parking lot where parking was already paid for. Very unhappy with how this was handled and being accused of someone being in my room. I understand mistakes happen but the way the manager just accused me instead of hearing me out was uncalled for. Only when I told her I was going to take it higher up did she offer to give the refund back and apologize for being accusatory and told her I wouldn’t wish to stay at that hotel again. Clearly someone made a mistake and instead of trying to sort it out I had to basically plead a case of being no where in a hotel room until after 1pm. Will probably never stay there again— plenty of other hotels in the Pittsburgh area.

Parking was kinda confusing, breakfast was very good all of the common areas were very nice and clean, the rooms themselves were just kinda average and a bit outdated for what we paid. Bathroom was not very clean and drains were extremely slow. Not a ton of restaurants super close it was a good walk away (hilly) but would be great if you are there for a concert or penguins game for sure!

Hotel is in a great location if going to PPG arena. Easy parking and logistics. My complaint was with the hotels housekeeping policy. I received multiple texts asking if I needed anything, as they do not provide housekeeping unless you ask for it. When I requested towel via text, I got no response. Never got those towels. Need to do a better job, or don’t text me and ask questions and offer assistance if you cannot respond.
