Check in went smooth and the lobby looked clean and inviting. Once we headed up to our room, we noticed the hall floors were very dirty. In our room, the mattresses were filthy, the bathroom door didn’t latch shut, the closet door didn’t latch shut and many of the drawers didn’t close properly. The room had an odor, especially the film over the mirror. The ac was also filthy.

This property was better than I expected. It is conveniently located and an easy $15-20 Uber ride any spot in DT Pittsburgh. Churia (sp) and the staff were very friendly and personable. They accommodated our requests and for $150ish per night when the Steelers had a home game was a fair price. In terms of the hotel itself, ya get what you pay for. Definite stains and not the most clean place but nothing that interfered with our weekend. If you're planning a weekend away with a lady friend and want to impress her, do not go here. If you have a gal that belongs to the streets, this is her spot. Were here to sleep and the place passed the bed bug check.

Honestly, this was disgustingly gross. Towels were dirty, sheets dirty, and when I went down to ask for new ones, literally not one soul to be found? I always thought there was atleast 1 person overnight. Not 1. No soaps in the room. I guess it’s the definition of you pay for what you get. Never again will I stay here. Very disappointed glad it was only for one night

The room was stained on the floor and walls.The sheets were stained with nail polish, there was holes in the thing blanket, no blackout curtain. There wasn’t even a smoke sector. When asked to change rooms was told no other rooms were available even though there were barely cars in the parking lot. Customer service was terrible when stating there wasn’t even a smoke detector got told that “we don’t smoke in rooms”. Smelt like weed and cigarettes in the room and hallway. Would not stay again

Immediately upon arrival we were not greeted or even just spoken to kindly. We booked this room months ago and they couldn’t originally find our booking and then we had to put a deposit down on top of what we already paid, which for this property is actually insane. Room is mediocre at best with an odd smell and weird holes patched up on several places in the wall. We have stayed at Red Roofs before and had a great experience, but from the moment we walked in, I could already tell that it was just going to be bad. Front desk was not helpful and was arguing with another guest while trying to check us in and also had an airpod in? I’m not sure the purpose of that, and I’m not trying to judge, but it was very off putting when that’s how the interaction starts. Between the room being just okay AT BEST and the way the staff was, I would not recommend staying here.

Bed was comfortable & linens were good; AC/heat worked well. Shower held water in tub; dresser/night stand drawers broken; chair was also broken so did not try to sit on it; carpet in hallway dirty; outside sign was not on one of the nights making it difficult to locate entrance due to busy road. No one was at the front desk when I arrived and did not respond to buzzer. Could not get a receipt from the hotel as it was done via Expedia. Probably would not have stayed as a senior female traveling alone if brother was not nearby.

We didn't even stay. We checked in and went to see the room and never went back. Located in an area that we didn't feel safe. 2 smoke detectors were removed from the base. Everything smelled so weird it gave me a headache. Money we just wasted.
