Mt Washington 2 Bedroom Renovated Apt

Loved staying in Mt Washington with its beautiful views and great eats. Easy to walk everywhere and drive downtown. Fantastic communication with owners made the stay very easy and comfortable.

Place was perfect for our weekend trip to Pittsburgh. Place was nice inside and communication with the property manager was fast and helpful. Location was great for us as it was just a short ride to North Shore and downtown Pittsburgh. Would absolutely stay at this property my again.

We loved the location of this property. We did not rent a car in Pittsburgh. This property is only a couple blocks from the best views of downtown Pittsburgh. If you like walking I highly recommend this area. You can rent bikes near the Hard Rock Cafe. We walked all the way into downtown across the river each day we were here. If you are active and enjoy walking this is a great location. If you don't like to walk a lot you could rent a car. The area this home is in was very quiet and felt safe. Communication with the owners was very responsive. There is a fantastic bakery with the best Cruellers (Grandview Bakery) close by along with some restaurants and a little grocery store in the Shiloh area which is easy to walk to. The only things we feel could be improved is the bath towels (maybe bring your own) and no kleenex or conditioner provided. The mattresses and bedding could be improved as the mattresses felt very old, hard and springy and the bedding could be improved. Overall though we loved the location as it was great exercise to cross the river to get to downtown and walk a lot and the views from this area a couple blocks from this home made this an excellent choice for us. If you are going to see an NFL game like we did you may want to consider renting a car or staying somewhere walkable to the stadium as it was insane trying to get a ride back up to Mount Washington after the game. A nice gesture was the basket of little snacks left by the owner.

Enjoyable stay in great location

We enjoyed our stay in the Mt. Washington area. The house was clean, spacious, and in great proximity to the the Grandview Overlook and Shiloh Street shops and restaurants. Our host was communicative and the check in process, which we did after midnight, was simple. We would stay at the property again.

Great Neighborhood

This was my first visit to Pittsburgh. I loved staying in this neighborhood. It was very clean and safe. The neighbors were kind and friendly, and treated us as extended family. It was relaxing and quiet after long days of sightseeing. The hosts are fantastic, and quick to answer any questions. I would definitely book with them again.

There’s a Reason this Place Gets Great Reviews

I can’t believe how lucky we were to have found this cool and simple apartment in Mount Washington. Everything they say and all the reviews are completely accurate. Great neighborhood and close to everything. We walked to breakfast, great pubs and diners in the Shiloh area. Entrance is easy and private parking very abundant in an area where parking is at a premium. I slept great on a comfortable mattress and the neighbors and neighborhood was quiet. I texted with the owners a couple of times about questions and got almost immediate responses every time. No complaints whatsoever. If you want to sit outside on a deck or porch, your options are limited, but you can always stroll down to Coughlin's Law Kitchen and Ale House.

Great college visit

We were in town for Pitt graduation. Perfectly close to everything. House was exactly as described. We got locked out once and hosts responded very quickly and were extremely helpful. Will be back!

Nice stay in a great neighborhood

We stayed 2 nights. The unit was super nice and very convenient. I parked my car and walked and used PRT to explore Pittsburgh. The property manager was great and quick to respond. Lots of things to do and see. The private parking is great.

Great location; Responsive Hosts

TL; DR - Lovely apartment, nicely appointed, great owners. We chose this apartment in Mt. Washington so that we could be near where my son is living and for all of the family to get together. This apartment was perfect for that. We fully used the kitchen to make two full meals and sit and chat in comfort. We were in and out for various events, and the location was central for all we needed. The highway and two tunnels across the river are within a mile or two. Mt. Washington's views are just around the corner. We had a maintenance issue in our first evening, but the hosts responded and had it fixed quickly. I can't say enough about the personal interactions and willingness to make our stay as like home as possible!
