The reservation was made as a last minute, and I was happy that they had 3 last rooms. However, that being said, if I need to stay in Monroeville next time, I would not choose this hotel. First, there were many smokers outside which is good, however their smoke permeates the rooms especially when setting and turning on the air conditioner or heating. The system draws in the air from outside which was smoke laden. Second, the bathroom had walls that were torn out by the water drain to the toilet. Unsightly Third, the floors were sticky near the bathroom Fourth the beds were hard. Not plush and soft - more like the inner spring mattress on the firm side. Difficult to sleep. Fifth and minor but no coffee in the rooms Lastly - No Breakfast! They advertise one, but offered nothing but coffee

My experience was not as great as it should have been due to a barking dog for hours in the morning call front desk who said they would advise but nothing changed woken up at 6am by barking constantly until after noon was not pleasant

I arrived after a very long drive and really needed to use the restroom but the lobby one was out of order. I did not get information about the included breakfast. When I went to the lobby the next morning, it was locked.

I don't like the late check in time of 3 pm.....I have appointments scheduled for 3 pm and it's impossible to keep them with that late check in time...I believe the check in time should be 1pm....It's not like the motel was at 100% capacity...surely there were available rooms at 1 pm...

Would stay again

Would stay again, but thecfirst room i was guven had dirty sheets and a used siap bar on the bathroom floor. The clerk at the front desk came to the room and immediately gave me another room. The bed was very comfortable and i slept great for the night. The keys easily lose their ability to work but thevfront desk was very helpful. The room easily met my needs and the restaurant next door is great. My husband also stayed here a few nights earlier in the week and he had no complaints.

You get what you pay for!

When I turned the bed back there was a clump of long dark hair on the side of the bed & the blanket could have used a washing. We took it off the bed. The chair at the desk looked like someone had had an accident in it. I wore my shoes until I went to bed…no way I was going barefoot!

Property is pretty run down. Room was OK but not what I would call clean. Surfaces grimy. Mold in the tub. No closet rod or even a coat hook to hang your clothes. Room did have a working microwave and mini fridge. plenty of hot water once I figured the shower was plumbed backwards and you need to set for 'cold' to get 'hot'. Really can't recommend. With other budget motels in the same area I'd say avoid this one
