    Highly recommend staying here

    We loved our stay at Vaya Vista. Beautiful, clean, well maintained house, peaceful serene location overlooking the lagoon. Plenty of decks to sit and admire the view. Grounds are spectacular and pool is amazing. Cindy and Olvin were great hosts and took excellent care of our group. Julia cooked us spectacular meals. Villa is Walkable to nearby beach, resorts and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. Also close enough to Placencia village, easily accessible by golf cart.

    More than we had expected

    The photos of the villa that are posted in the online advertisements do not begin to do the property justice. All aspects of the property were more than we had expected, it was amazing. The staff also could not have been better, Olvin and Cindy did a terrific job of seeing that everything was clean and well stocked with everything we could ask for. The chef was good, all meals were prepared at the times we requested and nicely presented. Our only disappointment was that all the groceries were purchased for the two weeks before we arrived. Both the lobster and shrimp were both frozen and not fresh. Our concierge, Erica, looked after all our concerns before our arrival, any emails we sent with questions regarding the property or our vacation in general were always answered promptly and with professionalism. Again, she could not have been any better. Thanks for a great vacation!

    Everything was amazing! The views, the staff, the beds, the showers, comfortable pool chairs. My only problem was bug bites, but no fault of the property owners. I would definitely stay here again.

    What a Dream!!!

    I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Villa Vaya Vista where my family of 5 spent 8 lovely days. First off, the villa itself is even more amazing than the pictures show. There are beautiful views from the lagoon in every single room and the outdoor dining and hangout space is top notch. We spent endless hours relaxing by the pool and playing games on the beach area. I was originally hesitant to book because I thought we'd rather be on the ocean but I'm very happy that we decided to stay here instead. The lagoon was so peaceful, it was much less windy and there was no smell of sargassum like there is on the ocean side. The walk from the villa to the ocean is probably 3 minutes, so no big deal. Our cook, Salvadore, had meals for us 4 of the days and they were all excellent. Having to not cook once single time on the entire trip was definitely a highlight for me! We really enjoyed Rise for smoothies and ice cream multiple times which was just a quick golf cart ride away. Azure Del Mar across the street was wonderful for lunch/dinner and cocktails as well. Lastly, (but certainly not least) Olmar and Cindy, the property caretakers, went above and beyond in every way possible. They were kind, personable, and took wonderful care of us and the property every single day. I wouldn't hesitate to book at any property they were working at! In all honesty, I have not even one single negative thing to say about our stay here and won't hesitate to book again next time we come to Belize!

    Villa was perfect for our family. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The care takers were the best. Very polite, accommodating just nice people to be around. Our chef Kenton was incredible. Should have booked him for the full week.

    This house is amazing and has a wonderful staff of caretakers. The chef was fantastic and very pleasant. I would recommend very highly. Only thing better would to have been on the beach side rather than the lagoon, and to have more restaurants and attractions closer to the house although most everything was within about 30 minutes.

    This was one of the best houses I have ever rented.

    From the inception the concierge team was amazing. They invested time to make sure that our expectations were met. Then they went above and beyond. The staff was absolutely amazing. Not one them was out of place. Everything was immaculately clean. The chef, Marvin, was out of this world. He took time to make sure all of our dishes were perfect. Simply amazing.

    Beautiful home with gorgeous views! WOW!

    The pool area is AWESOME with the ability to be in the sun or shade while in the water. The caretaker's, Cindy and Olvin were so welcoming and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed and more. We had the chef do dinner for us one night and it was excellent and a fun experience! Highly recommend. Every aspect of the home from the room layouts, to the furnishings, to the art work is amazing, inviting and comfortable. The art work is mostly from local artist and gives you a real feel for the culture of the area you are visiting. I especially loved the small painting in the pool level bathroom/bedroom! Wonderful experience and am planning to stay there every time I head to Belize !

The home itself is stunning — beautifully designed with multiple levels for relaxing and entertaining, complete with outdoor grills and breathtaking lagoon views that make every sunset feel magical. ???? The pool is a true highlight — spacious, sparkling, and complete with built-in bar stools so you can sip a cocktail while soaking in the sunshine. There’s plenty of room for lounging, whether you’re swimming, sunbathing, or just taking in the peaceful lagoon breeze. ???????? Inside, the villa has everything you could possibly need — a fully stocked kitchen with every amenity (even a juicer!), a coffee bar, and the option for a private chef to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every meal we had was fresh, local, and delicious! ????????????️ Getting around the island was easy and fun with the included golf cart, and we loved being able to explore nearby restaurants, beaches, and shops at our own pace. For a little adventure, the kayaks provided were perfect for gliding across the lagoon — a peaceful way to enjoy the calm waters and surrounding nature. ????☀️ The lagoon itself has its own special charm — tranquil, scenic, and ideal for those who love a more private, serene Belize experience. ????✨ What truly made this stay extra special were the people. Orvin and Cindy, the incredible onsite caretakers, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about our comfort — even their sweet dog Cheese Pizza greeted us with love every day! ????❤️ We were also lucky enough to meet the owners of the property, who are from Nebraska, and they were absolutely wonderful — so kind, welcoming, and clearly take immense pride in creating such a magical place for guests to enjoy. ????????
