Dolphin Beach was perfect

Had an amazing time with (4) couples. Dolphin Beach was perfect - offering (4) bedrooms - each with King Beds and a private shower. The property IS ON THE BEACH so absolutely AMAZING! The staff were also wonderful - from start to finish; answering any questions we had and helped with numerous excursions. And - the Chef option was the perfect addition. Cannot say enough about how perfect our week in Placencia was!

The location and house were amazing. Our chef Julia was so fun. She has a great personality and everything she cooked was delicious! The house had everything we needed and the golf cart made it easy to get around. There was a mix up with the grocery order and we needed up with some duplicates that got wasted, but that wasn't enough to ruin the experience.

The house was perfect for a girls trip. House was well stocked and had everything we needed. The bedrooms provided comfort and privacy. Service was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. The chef/Arjay and cleaning lady were wonderful. Samuel/maintenance was there daily to address any concerns. The location was perfect for us. We could get anywhere we wanted to go via golfcart.

Excellent beachfront property for a group or family

If you mentally picture a beautiful, scenic beachfront property, this location will more than fulfill that image. A secluded house surrounded by a sandy beach with palm trees throughout overlooking the dark blue Caribbean Sea. There is a pool in the back along with games for kids and adults alike. The breeze was continually coming off the ocean keeping the temperatures perfectly comfortable. The house is also air conditioned with four bedrooms, large living spaces, a deck overlooking the ocean and plenty of kitchen space in case you want to have some days to do your own cooking. There is even an area on the roof where one can gaze out over the whole area and if you are interested in stargazing, the view couldn't be better. The location is only minutes from grocery stores, restaurants and various shops along the peninsula for whatever you may need. Easily a five-star recommendation, you won't be disappointed.

We loved this house! What an amazing experience. I could really get used to waking up to that view every morning. Everything with the house was wonderful and I can't say enough positive things about the staff at Gecko Vacation Rentals. They were all a pleasure to deal with and made us feel very welcome. Blown Away!

The property is everything you would want for a paradise vacation. From the views, beds (soooo comfortable), top floor patio, pool, and beach everything exceeded our expectations! Having the golf cart to take easy trips into the town was perfect. We never felt unsafe, and the locals were super friendly. We can’t wait to plan our next trip to Belize and Dolphin Beach Villa!!

Anxious for our next visit to Dolphin Beach Villa

Our 7 day stay was AMAZING!! The house is beautiful and the staff was so helpful and quick to take care of any needs we had. The views and location right on the beach can’t be beat. If you just love the sounds of waves can enjoy that lounging by pool or laying in a hammock. We had great time using the paddle boards and kayaks on the property. Our meals, cooked by Garret were all so delicious. Three different decks make watching sunrise, having coffee or reading a book a real treat. Anxious for our next visit to Dolphin Beach Villa.

Private Home beautiful

Beautiful view of sunsets, sunrise from any deck on this beautiful 3 level house. We stayed with friends and enjoyed our own private bath in each rooms. Wonder kitchen space and everything you need to make meals or go out. Private golf cart to use to go out for meals or shopping. We can't wait to go back!

Great view!

We had a great stay! The house was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and well-equipped for groups or families. We especially appreciated the large tables, games, and thoughtful touches that made it ideal for spending time together. The beach was absolutely beautiful, though worth noting that it’s not ideal for swimming. The staff was kind and helpful throughout our stay. That said, in the future, we’d likely pass on the additional services (the house has chef, housekeeper, maintenance, and grounds keeper) it was a bit disruptive to have someone around so often, especially when we were hoping for a more private, romantic experience. Overall, a lovely spot for a relaxing group getaway!

Hey guys this place is so beautiful! We went there for my niece Adrianni 5th birthday party. We got to see the beautiful ocean while the sun rise in the morning and the beautiful sun set at night. This place has it all! The pool is clean an it’s not too deep. My family and i, we all enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a nice place to celebrate, vacate, get married, have a bachelorette party well look no more! This is the place it has it all.

An unforgettable Belize getaway - already dreaming of our return!

We made our first trip to Belize from 2/1–2/8/2026 with three couples, celebrating two 50th birthdays, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation. The Gecko concierge team coordinated all the details in advance — excursions, massages, groceries — making the planning effortless. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. A Gecko team member greeted us with a delicious beverage, chips and salsa, and a full tour of the home. The house is exactly as described: beautiful, private, right on the water, and incredibly spacious. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, plus an extra to spare. The service throughout the week was exceptional. Daily housekeeping (including laundry), drinking water on two levels, and fully stocked paper products meant we never had to worry about a thing. We loved the fresh coconut water drinks the team made for us. The chef-prepared meals were outstanding, and the birthday cake and decorations made our celebrations feel truly special. Even though the weather was a bit cooler than ideal for swimming, we enjoyed relaxing outdoors, walking the beach, and playing frisbee golf. Decorating a fence board to leave our mark on the property was such a fun touch. The included 6-person golf cart was perfect for getting around — we never needed to rent a car. We made many trips into the village for amazing food, drinks, and entertainment, and met some of the kindest people all week long. The laid-back atmosphere was exactly the escape we needed from everyday life. We can’t thank the Gecko team enough for making this such an incredible experience. We truly can’t wait to come back!

Didn’t want to leave!

I cannot say enough good things about our time at Dolphin Beach. The house was spectacular and so spacious that we never felt like we were all on top of each other. Basically everyone has their own floor and the outdoor spaces made enjoying the outside from sun up to sun down doable. The pool was such a great feature even though you are so close to the beach. All the linens and finishings were great and the golf cart made going to and from the village a breeze! We will be back again SOON!
