Broken toilet my entire stay unaddressed

The toilet was clogged with the previous guest’s BM upon arrival. I requested to change rooms, expressing concern that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. I was assured that it had been and that there were no other rooms available. I expressed concerns about the toilet not being fully functional. The desk clerk plunged the toilet and told me everything was fine. The toilet took 3-4 flushes to flush a small amount of toilet paper. I found the kitchen towel and dishes in the cabinets dirty with fresh food stains. I told the front desk and again asked to change rooms. I was assured that the room would be given a thorough “check out” clean while I was out as to change rooms would involve me having to remove my belongings and would be several hours wait. I again expressed concern given my previous concerns were not taken seriously and was assured that everything would be addressed. I put my belongings in my suitcase to make it easier for the staff and left out the dirty dishes on the counter - told the front desk this. I returned late that evening to find the toilet was not repaired and the room was not deep cleaned. The dirty dishes were just put in the dishwasher. I spent 3 nights without a function toilet. I spoke with the assistant manager who apologised and awarded me $100 in points. My 3 nights cost $900 and I didn’t have a functional toilet. Very poor service and I can’t believe that I was able to have a working toilet. I had to go to the bathroom elsewhere!

Property was quiet and mostly clean, but my bathtub faucet dropped the entire stay (they sent someone to check it and all he did was tighten it so much I could barely turn it on) and the shower head only worked on one side as the other side was clogged. One of the wall outlets between the sofa and the window was broken as well. I was on a non smoking floor but people were smoking right at the exit door which I was near and it came into the hallway and my room. They also left cigarette butts all over the ground. Also the water for the hotel was always being fixed/turned off maybe because there was a major ceiling leak right outside the lobby that took days to fix.
