The kitchen is on the bottom floor and is a great set up for large groups. There is a large seating area in the basement . The lake view was wonderful and the weather this weekend could not have been better. I would recommend shopping in town before arriving if wanting a larger selection of items. The bathrooms did not have shower soap or body wash, but the host was very responsive and brought those items over. Some of the furniture and cushions inside and outside need to be replaced/updated, but the ambience of the place was so great. It dates back to circa 1900 so it was very charming with lots of character. This was perfect for all of us. We had 5 couples and there were still beds and bedrooms to spare!

We had a wonderful multi-family vacation here! We loved the water access, many bedrooms, and large group eating spaces. We found the house reasonably well stocked with essentials. (There were a few disposable items that we had to purchase for a group of 15 for the length of our stay.) The lake access was great for swimming, boating, and fishing (although the rocky/dock entry would have been challenging if we had had littles 2 and under). It was not the cleanest VRBO I have stayed at
 but what we saw was mostly sand, dust, and cobwebs
 nothing truly concerning. The beds were comfortable and clean. It was a rustic and charming house that made for a memorable family getaway.

We had a wonderful time with our family, the home was large enough to accommodate us all. We rented a pontoon next door at the marina the gentleman wan very nice and price was extremely reasonable. We’re looking forward to making this trip again.

Wedding weekend

We rented this house because it was close to where my son was getting married on Pine Lake. My sister made all the flower arrangements and the downstairs was perfect for her to work. After the rehearsal dinner everyone hung out by the fire. It was a beautiful night. Some of the bridal party stayed overnight and the groomsmen got ready the morning of the wedding. I’m so happy we were able to book such a large house so close to the wedding venue.
The covered porch was wonderful.
The dock was great.

Team Retreat

House worked great for our team stay. It is a historic house so there is a lot of charm to the it. It is located on the main road which makes it easy to get to and is still very quiet.

Great Family Getaway

We had a great time with our family here for Christmas. We loved all the character the house had and all the space. Plenty of rooms for everyone to stay. The hosts were quick to answer and very helpful. We would come again!

Very quaint cottage for a large family or group to stay

This 3 level house was perfect for our big family to celebrate the holiday. Having the living area and kitchen in the basement was perfect with bedrooms on the 2 upper floors. Would definitely come back with family again.

Great adult vaca house

This house is a great house for a group of adults. Came on a guys golf trip and was perfect for what we needed it for. Not much living area to gather as a bigger group indoors though.

A total gem!

This place is *everything*! It's located right on a gorgeous lake with a usable dock, floating raft, paddleboard, and hammock. The huge balcony is perfect on a summer evening. I rented this place for myself and 12 other friends/family for my 40th birthday weekend and with 9 bedrooms and dozens of beds, we all basically had our own rooms which was a major plus!! The house was clean and organized and had TONS of communal space for hanging out. It was beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is also really big and perfect for cooking. We had an absolute blast staying at this place and I highly highly recommend it for anyone planning a fun weekend at the lake with a big group !
