The condo was excellent and met all our expectations .The location was great, close to restaurants, the beach and grocery stores, however, the construction of a new eight story condo across the street was a surprise. Vrbo should of had a more recent photo showing the construction from our condo and the roof top pool. A different booking decision might have been made. The noise from the construction was quite irritating at times . Pool maintenance was not always the best and the gym machines were not functional.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place! The condo itself was fantastic! Even the construction across the street was more entertaining then an issue. Only complaint was the pool and gym, pool was in rough shape when we got there, but they started working on it during our stay. Unfortunately they also closed it to do the work and we were left without a cool down spot for our last day. The gym needs a total revamp, the weights were one of each weight, the treadmill would quit after 2 minutes saying it couldn't detect anyone on it. Overall it was a very nice clean condo in a great location and we would love to come back for a longer stay!

The representative (I can't remember her name unfortunately) that met us at check was fantastic and helped organize all our needs. The added bonus was I booked this through Marriott, which I will do again as it contributed to my status. The only negative, and it is very minor, is that the gym equipment (treadmill and eliptical) didn't work. That is literally the only minor thing that wasn't perfect. When I come back to Playa, I will definitely be staying here again if it is available.

The condo is near some of the nicest restaurants and bars in 5 ave. The car parking garage was specious and easily accessible from the same elevator. Roof top pool and gym was nice too. Jacobo the security guard was very friendly and very informative. we will definitely be back soon.

Not worth the price

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although centrally located near 10th and 5th Avenues, that's the only good thing. I was disappointed that this was an endorsed Marriott property. Did not receive the value for the high cost. Forget about communications. Terrible at email and texts and phone. Everything is subcontracted and you never know who you're dealing with. Too sketchy.
