Great condo and location

We really loved this property. The location was great and right on the beach. You can sit outside and see the beautiful pool and the ocean. The beach is super close and within walking distance. There are security all around, who are super friendly that made us feel safe and any time of night. You can walk across the way to restaurants which were super tasty and get right to 5th avenue for shopping. Starbucks was a few buildings away. The only negative was the clubs nearby that play loud music until 2am. You can barely hear them in the condo but if you like to stay up late and hear the ocean while you're outside, you have to get really close to the water. The condo itself was 2 bedrooms. One bedroom had a pull out bed as well underneath the bed. Super clean, lots of seating, and everything you could need for cooking. We loved this place and would totally stay again!

We loved the location whichbis waterfront. There are 2 clubs right next to hotel which I would recommend earplugs on the weekends. The bass and music is pretty loud. But it does end about midnight or 1. There is only one small change I would appreciate if possible. The actual AC unit in the bedrroms has a very bright digital reading. If it is possible for that to be dimmed it would be very helpful. It is too hot to sleep with air off but it is very bright and difficult to sleep without my eyes covered. The place was ok for 6 with 2 small kids on the sofa. But the pullout trundle and bed are pretty small. Bigger than a twin but a very small full size. Maybe 4 small kids could fit on it but not the teens or adults. We all.loved location, pool and felt safe w security on the premise. The management answered us quickly w any concern but I didnt ask them to help.dim the AC unit. Maybe they can look into that. Karina at desk was kind to keep our luggage before check in

Beautiful property to stay at, in the heart of playa del Carmen with restaurants all Around. Do go to the breakfast please right next to el Faro as it’s one of the best places to eat in playa del Carmen.

The condo was perfect in terms of cleanliness, decor, essentials, and location to the pool/beach and 5th Ave. Did not hear any outside noise whatsoever. The property management was amazing in their responses to our questions/issues. I highly recommend this unit and the complex itself. Thank you for making our two-week stay so enjoyable! This two bedroom was as advertised. Great size. Bottom floor was perfect to walk out to the pool and beach. Everything you needed was there and you can't be the location a block from central 5th ave. The only problem was that I asked for hand towels and it took 5 requests to 4 people to finally get them after two days. Minor but we needed them and they should have better service with that. Otherwise, no complaints! I will certainly stay again!

Five Great Weeks!

We were fortunate to spend 5 weeks at ElFaro. We have previously rented here, but this was the first time we rented Coral 101. We could not have been more pleased. El Faro is a beautiful complex with an exceptional staff, from reception, to maintenance, to security to housekeeping! The location right on the beach and two blocks off 5th Avenue is perfect. The unit we had was well furnished, clean and well maintained and steps from the pool. Covid precautions were evident throughout and we always felt safe. Reservations were easy to make and responses from Naomi were extremely timely and helpful when booking. We can’t wait to return next year!

We had a great stay at El Faro Coral 101. My wife and two children age 10 and 13 really enjoyed our trip to Playa. The condo was clean, safe and the location couldn't be better. Only a block off of Fifth Ave, beachfront and a pool. We will definitely be back!
