My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Arte for our anniversary. It was a wonderful, clean hotel. I liked how there were different restaurant options during our stay. Our favorite was Mercado de San Juan and Arenal. The beach and river access was a 5 minute walk from our room. It was really refreshing and clean! We swam and kayaked in the river. There were plenty of lounge chairs to choose from. I loved the convenience of accessing the different Xcaret Parks with the transportation provided. Included Airport transportation was also a plus. Though the service was good, it could have been better. They weren’t accommodating when asked for a new water bottle due to it being damaged when we were out at the park and suggest we purchase it at their gift shop. We also didn't have our room cleaned for one day which wasn’t a problem but they came later in the evening asking if we wanted our room cleaned, which we declined. Overall, the hotel was superb and it was an excellent experience in our stay.

The shuttle transport from the airport to arte was great the staff from beginning to end was amazing. Housekeeping 10/10 our servers from the restaurants 10/10 the pool staff and life guards 10/10 bartenders 10/10. So much to do here at Xcaret arte. The restaurants were amazing, Cantina VIP has a mixed seafood tostada and it was by far the best thing I’ve had so flavorful. San Marco had a huge variety of buffet style food highly recommend the tacos there. Cayuco was solid too bunch of seafood options every restaurant was at least a 4/5 minute walk from our building (casa de música). Our room was beautiful we had a nice view to the center stage for the theater. Stocked mini bar and snacks platform. I highly recommend trying to book a reservation for the other restaurants that require it if you don’t it will be hard to just walk into. The bars were pretty solid pool bars were cool the speak easy was pretty cool the decor was really pretty. Pools closed at 7pm which was my only issue but I think it’s a safety thing so it makes sense. Even when you’re done eating you can walk around to different parts of the hotel and enjoy the art on the walls. Every worker here was always greeting us with good mornings or good afternoons etc any question we had it was answered. We are definitely coming back next year. Cenotes was an amazing tour to do, followed by xel-ha snorkeling there was amazing and finally Xcaret Mexico was really fun a lot of walking around

Overall, this was a great vacation. This was the 2nd time my family and I have visited this resort. The grounds seem a little dated and in need of updating this trip. The food in the specialty restaurants was always cold and did not taste good. We made a reservation for dinner before hand at chino Pueblano but we were not ask weather we wanted indoor or outdoor seating. We had several older members of the family which required air conditioning while dining. We arrived almost 30 minute early and were advised that we needed to return 10 minutes prior to our reservation time. We were not ask if we wanted indoor or outdoor dining at that time. When we returned we were told to wait as our table was not ready but that they were clearing an outdoor table. We immediately advised the staff that we needed an indoor table for health concerns but were told that it was not possible as they had another large party who paid additional money for their reservation and they were going to accommodate them. We ask to speak with a manager who told us the same thing. We ask for the resort manager and were told they were not in but if we wanted to eat dinner with them that night we had to sit outside or we could go to the buffet next door. It was late and my party was hungry so we decided to stay there. It was so hot outside, the food service was running very behind, and the food was so cold and did not taste good. We ultimately left the restaurant and got tacos from the food stand outside club.
