This apartment is large enough for families or groups of up to 8 people, however, a couple or a family will feel at home with lots of space and a very pleasant decoration.
The kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet and everyday cooking or if you chose, to accommodate a private chef to prepare your meals during your stay. Enjoy the Echo dot with Amazon Alexa for your choice of music during your evening. Clean up is easy too with a spacious dishwasher.

The living room is very comfortable, perfect for watching Netflix or contemplating the vegetation and landscaping that surrounds the apartment. A variety of colorful birds will arrive on the terrace throughout the day and it is not uncommon to see (if you are lucky) monkeys, parrots, agouti, coati, or deer just below the terrace balcony.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, large Netflix smart TV, walk-in closet, full bathroom, as well as a desk and chair for working with a computer.
Two additional guest bedrooms are on the second level and features queen size beds, closets, and desks with chairs for remote work. These two guest rooms share a large full bathroom. There is a 32" TV with Netflix in guestroom number 3.
The Terrace guest room it is located on the third-floor. Small but cozy room with a queen size bed, full air conditioning and fan and has its own full bathroom (no closet).
The Terrace level also has a complete laundry with washer and dryer for your convenience.

The outdoor terrace has comfortable living furniture, a dining table, gas BBQ grill and a cooler. This terrace is the perfect location for watching sunsets over the Mayan jungle while you prepare your BBQ dinner and sip on an ice-cold beer or bubbly champagne.
In the common areas you will find a large and inviting heated pool with splash pool, patio tables and umbrellas and bathrooms. Enjoy the fully equipped gym for your daily workouts. If you have a car, no worries – free parking is provided.

Lovely ,Large Private

This is my second stay . Found things clean and very nice . Noticed that the curtains have been nicely cleaned up and repaired . Met some new people that always seem friendly ,some guests ,some perm residents , alot of different staff .The unit was very nice with no major surprises.

The property was dirty, does not look like in the pictures. The furniture were deteriorated, the shower in master bathroom did not worked. The fourth bedroom was located on the roof terrace, was humid and smelled bad. The bathrooms were infected with cockroaches. The grill was dirty from previous occupants. It is the first time I used this app VRBO and will be my last one. After the pandemic, I expected to find a clean and disinfected place and was not the case. Playacar is a beautiful closed community, but this property could not be offer as is for rent needs a lot of work and maintenance.

Beautiful Playacar Condo

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. It exceeded our expecations overall. The condo is very large, nicely appointed in all rooms but the 3rd floor patio is the star of the show! It's huge! We barbequed most nights and enjoyed eating under the stars. The pool was lovely, peaceful and warm. We rarely saw anyone else while we floated around for hours at a time. Communication with the property manager was great and directions to the property were very clear making our arrival smooth and hassle free. Thank you so much for sharing this gem with us!

Lovely , Spacious & Quiet

Beautiful area and lovely condo suitable for a family. Very quiet and safe with helpful and friendly staff and local's whom were always kind and patient with questions. Only a small mention of my own struggle to get through the process of satisfying the requests and steps required to get admission into the security gate and then the code to gain entry. The other was the air conditioning kept shutting off while sleeping causing overheating and poor sleep . It seemed to work the last day . Also latch on patio door doesn’t lock so I installed a motion alarm . Curtains in bedrooms are in desperate need of replacing- they are dirty and worn and literally falling down . These are small things as compared to the many lovely aspects of this property. The condo in general was very nice , spacious, quiet and nicely decorated and supplied with everything from towels to dishes . The property has many trees and foliage on and around. The pool was so very enjoyable - just perfect. It’s a very good idea to get a bike for you stay . It’s my preferred way to get around the area and makes getting to beach cub at the reef hotel and beach club much easier . Jannete and Edgar were both very kind and helpful.

Beautiful condo, well-equipped kitchen. Would have been helpful to have potholders for oven use and a roll of paper towels & a couple trashbags to get us started. We had some kitchen plumbing issues & the property manager addressed them promptly.
