Située dans la campagne vallonnée de South Hams, cette charmante propriété de vacances se trouve à proximité des superbes plages et des magnifiques promenades à pied de Dartmoor et du sentier de la côte sud-ouest. Les familles peuvent profiter de Pennywell Farm, du South Devon Railway et de Bovisand Beach. Excellente navigation à Noss Mayo. Plymouth avec des magasins, Barbican, aquarium et Plymouth Hoe, se trouve à 11 km. Les sympathiques propriétaires vivent dans la ferme du 17ème siècle attenante et gèrent une petite pépinière sur place. il y a toujours de fabuleuses expositions de fleurs. Boutique et pub 1 mile.

Il y a 5 marches à la cuisine et 7 autres marches aux chambres. Jusqu'à deux chiens seulement. Certains des plafonds sont en pente. Le WiFi peut être plus lent aux heures de pointe en raison de son emplacement en milieu rural.

Mrs. West was delightful and helpful at check-in. The cottage was so cute, spacious, and cozy. The main bedroom is huge, and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable!

We had a lovely stay at Fordbrook Cottage for new year. The cottage is equip with everything you could need and Mrs West goes that extra mile by providing tea, coffee, milk, eggs and biscuits when we arrived. The dogs are also made very welcome. Our dog loved the bed and warming infront of the Rayburn.

Had a wonderful 5 night stay at Fordbrook Cottage. Will most definitely return. Everything you require is at this cottage, nothing was forgotten. Very comfy and cosy for me, my husband and two children aged 7 and 9. It’s most definitely a hidden gem and worth the money.

Lovely cottage in a quiet setting, everything you needed was there, the owner was lovely and very welcoming, she had left tea,coffee, milk, fresh eggs, milk and biscuits She had even put two lovely cosy dog beds ready by the rayburn and left treats for them.(much appreciated by our 2 dogs).Nice walk down the lane to the creek and well placed to visit local area. A few steps to kitchen and bathroom but a really cosy welcoming place to return to after a day out.Would definately stay again.

Beautiful country cottage

Lovely quaint cottage. Parking outside of property. Roads to it are very narrow but fabulous dog walks within 5 minutes. Secure area for dogs . Well equipped, towels, hairdryer etc. all good sized rooms. Lots of steps . Good bathroom with hot shower. 5 mins from petrol station and supermarket. Perfect country stay

pulled into the drive of a picturess cottage with flowers a bloom and a friendly welcoming owner, she showed us around a beautiful quaint cottage and then left us to enjoy. enjoy we certainly did, beaches not far to explore, we had family in plymouth to visit and rekindle. the weather when we stayed was so hot but the cottage itself was lovely and cool and was great to relax and unwind after a busy day. some mornings we got greeted by donkeys and chicken out of the master bedroom window which was so lovely, then on the porch area lots of birds and doves singing there morning songs. needless to say we really enjoyed our stay here and would most definately come again. thank you!

Most enjoyable time, cottage is tucked away in quiet place, but not far from main road into Plymouth or out towards Exeter/Dartmouth/Dartmoor. Plenty of good food places within 30 mins drive, although the Devon roads are a challenge as you head off to the coast and smaller villages. The Cottage is immaculate with all the facilities you could need to eat in/cater/wash and clean for a family. We had a fabulous time at the Fordbrook cottage. We stayed for a week with our 6month old baby. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and well equipped. The welcome package of milk and eggs was a nice touch too. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the south of Devon and Cornwall. We would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Notwithstanding my historic family connection (an ancestor lived there in 1870),The cottage itself has a long history. Nowadays, it has been modernised without losing its character, with a welcoming ambience. It's also set within the beautiful Devon countryside of the Coflete valley. Sitting on the rear patio of a morning, drinking tea and enjoying the peaceful surroundings, was a great way to start the day. Local amenities are limited, but Plymouth is 6 miles away if you need to shop. The owners were friendly and described the cottage's history in great detail; my ancestor worked there as a cider-maker. An excellent week-long stay and I wish it was longer

Lovely cottage. With a friendly welcome . Love the welcome pack with tea , milk , eggs and kitkats , plus treats for the dogs was a very kind thought . Only concern was walking or driving out of driveway as hard to see fast moving cars through the small lanes .
