Wifi worked for first day, sheets were not the best which i anticipated and brought my own. The air conditioner stays on so really cold or hot because we shut off. Entryways were small my sons kept hitting their heads. Stovetop qas induction so took us a minute to figure out how to use by holding the unlock. Served its purpose but was much smaller than appeared.
We had no heat the entire stay but they did give us space heaters the second night. Also could hear squirrels or mice in ceiling scratching every night. In living room and bedrooms
Horrendous experience! I doubt the property would pass an inspection as it feels like the floor is ready to cave in. The entire place leans to one side. It is NOT at all as advertised! VERY MISLEADING We froze as they have NO HEAT and are still renting it out when it is 50s high and 30s at night. We had to purchase blankets and a space heater. What bothers me the most is I called as soon as we checked in to get moved to another place. I was told we were given a high priority for a call from a local representative, and no one ever called back. Emails and phone calls and still no help. The condition of this property was POOR; there are concrete blocks and trash all over the shoreline and a patio held up by one 2x4. There were windows screwed shut, no working smoke alarms, HUGE safety concerns. The washer & dryer they advertised had been removed, and paper towels stuffed in the vents. We arrived after a cruise and had to go to a laundromat. There is no insulation, paint peeling off the ceiling, and dead bug guts all over the walls and ceiling... No oven to cook with, no closets for your clothes. A dirty toilet & bathtub. There is mold all over the property's exterior and overgrowth in the yard, which is wholly unkempt and a mess! The combination lock didn't work. The furniture is very uncomfortable, cheap, and low-quality! Even a broken drawer in the kitchen cabinet. Run for your life and DO NOT RENT THIS UNKEPT SHACK!
Only somewhat pleased with our stay at the pond-front cottage. Spent 20 minutes trying to enter in a 8 number code into the door to access the cottage on a rainy night. What the listing did was not prepare us for was that this cottage uses well-water and showering and brushing teeth was unpleasant. Had to buy bottled water for drinking, making coffee and brushing teeth. Additionally, there were spiders about the indoor ceiling and along the baseboards. We had difficulty connecting to the internet and the TV did not connect to the router. We notified management first thing the next morning after arrival and was told a local manager would come out and reset the router, because they didn't know where it was located for us to do it ourselves. No one showed up for over 8 hours, so we began a search and located it hidden in a bedroom and reset it. No welcome information or how things ran or where to find anything for guests. We had a few local friends over to enjoy a campfire with us on Friday evening, were not noisy at all, but the neighbors reported that we were, so a text message from management was sent to me, asking us to respect the neighbors. No beach access, as it was littered with broken cinder-blocks from a fail retaining wall and the two kayaks were full of outdoor debris and unable to use. Not at all happy that they misrepresented the accommodations and need to pay a lot more attention to the camp's surrounding. The outdoors appeared unkept and unmaintained grounds.
Very cute property....out side can use some attention. There was some kind of an animal underneath the front bedroom facing the lake we heard him scratching in the middle of the night also we cleaned out your filter for your heating and air conditioning unit (My husband's a plumbing & heating) it needed to be cleaned out. He also tried to fix the shower it needs to have a cover with a handle is The water is getting down into the wall and it's going to rot out. Otherwise we had a great time thanks
The house looks as listed. Butâthose windows you see in the pictures cover both main walls of the house and have NO shades and they are ground level. I just felt unsafe. A sitting duck. The house is down a long windy narrow dirt road and I felt so exposed. If someone nefarious was around thereâd be no hiding I was a woman alone in that house. Itâs a fishbowl especially at night. I wasnât comfortable at all. It seems as if the vacation company thinks the same because in one roomâonly oneâthey actually screwed the windows shut. But thatâs the only room. Thereâs no alarm system. Just one simple lock on both of the doors and plain old window locks that no one would have a problem breaking into. I didnât sleep night one. And the next day, I decided to lose money and pay for a hotel in town. When I let the company know that I left early their only response was âHappy Travels!â Never again!

No reply from local management, still havent heard from them a week later to discuss oir concerns
Over all great location and house, view over pond and wild turkeys running around was a nice plus. Wish house had a washer and dryer, other than that we enjoyed.
Enjoyed our 4 night stay in this cute remodeled cottage especially sitting out on the deck overlooking the pond. Only a few miles to downtown Plymouth were we got our fill on some great seafood. Plus seeing the MayflowerII and Plymouth Rock and visited the l Plymouth Plantation. Listing didnât list coffee pot or hair dryer and messaged before leaving home and was told to bring my own. But the cottage had both but not the washer/dryer listed. The cooktop was difficult to figure out but you have to place a pan on it before it will warm up. No oven or grill! It was 90 degrees all four days and the air kept the cottage very comfortable even the bedrooms. We definitely enjoyed our stay!!!
The pond views are nice, inside is cute and the local Vacasa staff was helpful. This is the only reason I gave this property a 4 star. The narrow drive and yard are overgrown, the drive scratched up our car every time we came and went and was difficult to see traffic when pulling onto road, an old truck bed liner filled with trash sits in front of the house. One of the bedrooms had every window screwed shut, (packing screws were not removed). Definitely a safety hazard. Very strong odor coming from the drains, the stove did not work, there is no oven. The microwave is installed extremely high. No place to hang clothes except a couple hooks on the back of one door. The local Vacasa people were very helpful. They sent someone out to fix the stove, they took pictures of the yard and listened to our concerns. This could be such a great little place, it just needs a little more attention. Perhaps someone from Vacasa should stay there a few days and they will see everything that needs improving, it wouldnât take much, (like not having two lock boxes, the hidden one is the one that the code works on to retrieve the house key) There are a lot of little things added up to one big frustration.
