The young girl who was on reception when I arrived on Thursday and on Friday morning was amazing. She was so helpful and went over and beyond what would be expected. She is a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was great and the room was spotlessly clean. I wouldn't hesitate in staying here and will recommend this hotel to others.

Firstly the staff were fantastic - very friendly, welcoming and informative. The room I booked was a single room, and I wouldn’t rush to book it again. However, the property was well located, relatively clean, and the breakfast was fantastic, so I would stay here again, but would have to book a double room to enjoy a bit more space, and hopefully not be in below ground as I felt in the single. Bonuses were good off-street, free parking, walkable to all amenities, and I slept well in a comfy (single) bed.

Little Gem Close to The Hoe Park and Barbican

We received a vety friendly welcome and help to take our luggage upstairs. The room was clean and spacious. The ensuite looked in pristine condition and the shoeer was easy to usecand vety good. Breakfast had a number of cooked choices as well as the continental self service. Iverall the staff at the Drake made us very welcome and very comfortable. The jotel is well positioned for the Hoe, Barbican and Railway Station.
