Although we had to park in a local garage and walk to the hotel, it took less than 10 minutes. The trade-off was being in a central location to the town square and festivals which made the rest of our stay very easy and relaxing. Beds were comfy, good water pressure in the shower, and the buffet was delicious!! Would stay here again.

Rooftop bar vista across the Square

Arrived around 12.30pm and room was not ready however I was able to leave my bag in a storage cupboard and go for a walk. The room was clean however there was no air conditioning and it was very hot so not a great sleep. The rooftop bar had last orders at 9.30pm which was very early.

Great location, right on the square. Lovely friendly staff..poliye and efficient checkin and checkout. Breakfast was good and not too busy. Room was OK, with a TV but only one news channel was on English.

The lady at the front desk was fantastic. She allowed me to choose rooms. The hotel is okay for a nights stay. It’s loud at night if you are facing the square. Beds are mediocre. Breakfast is very good. Bring your own wine open, the hotel does not have one!

Located centrally to city sights, had a nice breakfast, and the gated parking lot was worth the 8 Euros per night. The only drawback was night time noise due to our window facing the street.

Brewery stop

Pilzen may well seem far off the holiday route with the Urquell Brewery being the draw card. The Central Hotel is exactly that right in the main square o Pilzen. The room we stayed in in had a nice large bathroom and a sitting area to relax, very comfortable. The staff were friendly and were able to assist us in getting around. Breakfast was good and again the staff were helpful. I would certainly stay there again if I were in Pilzen.

Great hotel, staff and location.

If you want to be at the main square in the old part of town, there's no closer hotel than this one. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet, staff helpful and breakfast excellent. Very satisfied and I will be back.

Location in the centre of the city, impossible to open windows properly, no air condition, unpleasant staff at the reception. Good choice if you want to be right in the centre for a reasonable price when it is not hot and if one does not expect too much.

Old hotel and not really being looked after

Its an old hotel. Room itself was nice and clean with one huge drawback - it was way too warm with no temperature controls. Only was was to open the window, then too cold and noisy so impossible to be comfortable. Breakfast was appalling - the worst coffee I've had in a long time, terrible juice, and the rest of it was barely edible. Didn't eat in the evening as just didn't want to risk it.

Perfect

I will be frequenting the Plzen area and am thrilled to have found this hotel. The spa was very relaxing, but more importantly the staff was extraordinary!! Location is perfect and the room was clean and comfortable with beautiful views from the balcony!!
