Winter get away

First time renting through this app and the ease and use is top notch! Our property renter, Raj, was attentive, polite, and the property was very well kept. All the amenities were great and the closeness to local events was a plus. We went to the local bewery and had a nice afternoon. The hot tub was a plus and the family had a great time!The house layout was great for 10 guests, and the large living room was great for movies and pizza!We will definitely be returning for the summer!

I travel so I know things are not going to be 100% perfect all the time so I'll get right to it. When we arrived the entire driveway was a sheet of ice, not snow it was slippery walking to the door. This upset me because it makes me think that you didn't care about, my safety or that of my guests . I had to call Raj and tell him about the ice. A plow came two hours later and cleared the driveway he didn't put salt down, I had to do that. It was the small doable things which made us angry. The toilet was dirty,the patio door had no blinds, we had to cover it with a blanket. There were scratches and paint chipping everywhere it made the house look run down. It snowed overnight so I had to call Raj again about the driveway needing plowing and again I had to put down salt. If the owners would put a little more effort and show the property some love it would be great rental.

Amazing winter getaway

We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 2 -7 and there was so much to do for everyone!The property is very clean, conveniently located and Raj was extremely responsive and a great host. Kalahari is 5 minutes away and Camelback is super close too!Thank you so much!

Perfect home! Better than the pictures

Perfect home for my family’s vacation to the Poconos. The layout is very accommodating for a large group, all beds are comfortable and the game room was a big hit. The owner was very responsive and we had no issues at all. Highly recommend this home!

Excellent Stay at a cozy home in the Poconos

Raj has a wonderful place to host a gathering at. Myself, my wife and our friends thoroughly enjoyed having all of the space both indoors and outdoors to have our yearly get together. Would definitely recommend to a larger group size as there was plenty of room to give people space, and fantastic common areas to spend quality time with others.

Great location

I wish to have more day of vacation

For the first time my family was abel to have a nice gathering. We really enjoyed the fire pit. We had a nice bbq , and movie night , i just wish for the house to have kayak so the tenants have more enjoyable staying, the lake is not accessible for swimming, because of the animal feces.i wouldn't recommend to sunbathing or play with the sand ,furthermore the kayak will help to get more reviews for the lodgment. The house is beautiful, thank you mr raj , keep the good work !

Great location in the Pocono Mtns

The house was big enough for our two families to meet and enjoy a week together with plenty of space. The fenced in backyard, trampoline and firepit were fun places to hang out. It was a lovely location and close to lots of attractions and parks. We enjoyed seeing wildlife on and around the property as well as the lake. Owners were responsive to messages and happy to help.

Outstanding property and hospitality

Absolutely stunning! Meticulous details inside and outside of this home! Highly recommend it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. No expense sparred on furnishings and excellent amenities for both adults and kids. Pictures were incredible but the home and the views were much better in person! Three bedrooms had nice lake view. Very good communication from our host and always very helpful! We found that the space was incredibly stocked with basic essentials - anything we needed was available, with notes everywhere to help guests find things, or know what is expected - I loved it. Pool table, foosball table and hot-tub were HUGE hit with the kids. The backyard was fenced and felt very secure with kids and family. It had a trampoline and volley-ball court which we could not enjoy this time due to snow, but the hot tub under a gazebo was fabulous and we all had a great time. Fire pit & propane grill was nicely set up on wooden porch with nice sitting arrangements. Overall, it was great stay and we will surely be back in summer to enjoy the lake and surroundings. Thank you so much Raj for Wonderful few days!!!

Great Pocono Weekend

We had 13 people (7 adults, 6 kids), and the house worked out perfectly. Everyone had somewhere to sleep without a problem. The backyard was nice and big so the kids could run around or jump on the trampoline. The hot tub has its own little pergola so we were able to use it even though it rained. The lakeside playground is a very short walk and easily accessed, with views of the lake from the front door. Raj was very easy to work with and was very responsive. The only issue we ran into was we couldn't find any baking/cookie sheets, but that's a very minor inconvenience and didn't affect our stay at all. We loved our time here and would highly recommend this property!

Decent location, not maintained well

The house was not cleaned well at all when we arrived. The pots and pans were oily, the surfaces were dirty- we had to buy and reimburse our own cleaning supplies since there were none in the house. Some windows and the backyard door were missing screens so we couldn’t get fresh air without letting in bugs and there was a skunk living under the shed so we could not use any part of the large backyard. A couple chairs were loose or broken as well. When communicating with the host, they offered to give a credit, part upfront and part paid after we left a 5-star review. Later, they offered to instead pay the remaining amount if we did not submit any review. Given how heavily we rely on guest reviews, this was quite alarming. Makes us wonder how many reviews on this listing are accurate. With better maintenance, this would be a great choice; however, our experience was far from 5-stars.
