This place wasnât for us. Positives: The location is near ONP, and thereâs a general store close by. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were stocked. Negatives: The check-in details we received via text differed from those received via email, which differed from the information in the home. The entry keypad didnât always work, and we had to reach out for help with gate access (Vacasa was prompt and helpful). There isnât really a lake view, the house wasnât very clean: the kitchen smelled like old oil, the dishes in the cabinets were plastic and unclean, and the upper-level shower curtain smelled like mildew. If you have kids and donât want to worry about damaging a place, they seem to be set up for you. If you want to read a book in bed, they are not (no bedside lamps!). We wouldnât recommend this place, but it does provide an affordable option for others. Recommendations to host: add reading lamps, replace the shower curtain, put covers on the stained mattresses, and invest in some dishes that can go in the microwave (not plastic).
The best thing about this property is the location which is great for visiting the national park. The property furniture all is cheap and stained. You probably shouldnât ask your guests to remove the sheets to expose that the mattress they have been sleeping on is covered in urine stains. The upper bunk mattress is garbage with no support. There are many lights that donât work. The gate code only worked half the time and we had to contact the property manager to finally figure out there was an entrance card in the property. Wouldnât recommend to a friend and wouldnât stay again. Find another home in their same area
Easy to find, open and bright, quiet (early June), comfortable and clean. Great primary bed with nice linens. We needed peace after a 4-day fabulous but socially exhausting so we didnât do many activities available. Stunning surroundings such as rain forest.
