The kitchen was large and pretty well-equipped to cook our Thanksgiving meal, and the hot tub was the perfect temperature for me. Another bonus is how quicky the host replied to any message. She was fantastic. The master suite on the top level was very comfortable, and the setting of the home is gorgeous. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a great weekend at the cottage! Our group of three families enjoyed the peaceful seclusion of the cottage and easy access to the Olympic National Park and downtown Port Angeles. We were here during the Dungeness Crab Festival, a must-do if you find yourself here in October. The cottage was clean and cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Linh was a great host, communicated regularly, we were well taken care of!

Our group came with 4 adults and 4 children under 5. The space was perfect. Beautiful pond and property to awake and relax in front of. Also great access to olympic. We would definitely stay here again next time.

This cottage was immaculate and there was plenty of room for all our family. It was in a beautiful location- close to the national park, as well as downtown Port Angeles.The kitchen was well stocked and spacious- everything we needed to cook family meals comfortably.The deck overlooking the pond was lovely and a great hangout in the evening, along with the hot tub, of course.Our hosts were super response to my questions/ concerns, both before and during our stay.Altogether, we had a wonderful stay.

We had a great time staying at the Hillside Cottage. The home was exactly as shown in the pictures and was a wonderful place for our multi-generational group. We were very close to Hurricane Ridge which we loved and we spent each evening on the porch overlooking the pond. There was plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed our time.

Beautiful home!We felt welcomed to the home with snacks and wine gift basket. Wonderful location for mid to upper part of ONP. The children liked looking for frogs. Wonderful end to our west coast trip.

Magical family getaway

We visit as a family national parks every 2 years and plan it when it is our adult children’s birthday—- They happen to be triplets. Our favorite spot was the deck overlooking the serene pond. Each night we all just loved spending our evenings there
. We named (well our 3 year old grand daughter did) the solo duck
Ariel. We love her! We all talked about her personality traits
. We kind of felt sorry she was alone. The last morning we were there in our week long stay she had 3 ducklings following her. Triplets! How great! We enjoyed mostly the peace and serenity at this beautiful cozy, charming home! Thank you Linh and Don!!!

Our family stayed for our parents 50th anniversary. The space was phenomenal. Comfortable. Close enough to town that you didn’t feel isolated, but private enough you felt the forest was yours. Thoughtfully appointed. Easy house instructions. Serenaded at night by frogs in the pond. Abundant wildlife to watch while having coffee in the morning. Excellent.

Perfect place for Olympic stay

This was a perfect site for our family reunion trip to ONP. The house is well-equipped for seven adults who like to cook, and the location is great for park visits. The pond and surrounding woods meant that time spent in the house also provided immersion in nature (the baby ducks and fawns were regular visitors). We had a few minor issues but the owner responded immediately and all was then well. Overall, I would recommend this property very highly.

A luxurious retreat

Wow! Can't say enough about this wonderful home and the terrific hosts. The house sits in an idyllic setting on a beautiful small lake, with two resident ducks! We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine, chocolates, stocked coffee and all other essentials to make our stay complete. The house itself is lovely, with comfortable beds, a cozy nook that overlooks the lake, and a hot tub that is lit with patio lights and sits at the lake's edge. The host replied to our inquiries almost immediately, and did all she could to accommodate our requests and make us feel welcome. The location is wonderful -- very yet just a short drive to Port Angeles and only a mile from Hurricane Ridge. Truly ideal stay. Thank you for sharing!

We were very pleased with our stay that this amazing home! Super clean and great location, stocked with all the amenities you’d need to cook and a great play room for the kids! The hot tub was great! Perfect Family get together

Wow! This place exceeded all expectations. The setting was beautiful and a lot of attention was paid to detail. We really appreciated all the little touches. We were joking that someone got carried away with the label maker, but truthfully it made everything from finding things in the kitchen to identifying light switches much easier. The pond was lovely and everyone enjoyed taking daily walks. The location was perfect.

Beautiful house, beautiful location

My family stayed here for 3 days as part of a longer vacation, and we were all sorry we hadn't booked a longer stay here! When we first arrived, my 7- and 10-year-olds ran all around the house and the grounds, excited at every turn. We were delightfully surprised by so many things - the fountain, the s'mores and DIY cocoa, the baby frogs that came out after the rain... It was just perfect. We had more than enough space for our group of 7 (4 adults, 2 kids - 3 families in total) and everything we needed to cook at home, if we wanted to. The house is on a quiet street with trails nearby, and it was easy to get to the visitors' center so we could plan out our hikes at Olympic National Park. The breakfast nook was a perfect place to start the day, and I loved sleeping in the upstairs attic bedroom. It rained most of our trip so we didn't get to spend much time outside, but the game room kept our kids entertained, and thanks to the doors, they didn't bother anyone else. The hosts were responsive when I had questions about the property. I highly recommend and hope we'll be able to come back someday!
