The location was perfect for our group (we did Mt. Olympic NP). We were a party of eight adults age 65-plus, so the two bathrooms were a bit difficult to schedule. Another issue we had were the two flights of stairs to maneuver between the main floor and the other two (this home is a three-level). This home backs up to the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and we spent much time watching ships and barges pass back and forth. Be sure to carry your binoculars! This was our favorite part of this home. The kitchen was fairly well-stocked, however I was glad we had brought our own Saran Wrap, foil, and baggies. Plenty of room to sit and visit or play board games/cards. Parking for our two large vehicles had plenty of room. The beds/mattresses were comfortable enough (and we're a fairly picky group).Clean-up instructions were not over-the-top like some places; very reasonable. Doubt we'll ever be back in Washington, but if we were to visit WA again, we'd consider this place.
