Beautiful spot! The cottage overall was very clean and nice however the pull out coach was dirty, lots of sand. No sheets or blankets for it so i gave my daughter the blankets from my bed to use as a sheet and blanket and i slept with the towels and my coat.

The owners of the cottages are lovely. There is no better view in Port Hood of the ocean and Port Island then the lighthouse cottages I would highly recommend staying there

Had such a terrific time decide to stay an extra night. All staff were wonderful and the proximity to the beach was amazing for swimming and watching the sunset. Would definitely return!

Great location with a short walk down to Lawrence's Beach, which rarely had more than a dozen people on it. Great for nice walks. Cottage was compact, but had everything we needed. Good central location to explore the west side of Cape Breton. Steps to Ceilidh trail head.
