Here's the bottoms line to my wordy review:
The place is nice, well stocked, has a beautiful view, had comfortable beds (number one priority), is close to amenities, but it's so cold inside. We anrrived just as snow was starting to fall. The front door code didn't work, so I had to call Vacasa for help. The wait was a little long, especially given the freezing temp, but they were helpful. Door lock is a pain. Once in the unit, it was darn cold. I think 58 degrees. The view of the snow on the grass overlooking the water and mountains was incredible. The unit was nicely updated except for the baths, both en-suite, so we had private bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked. Probably the best I've had in recent vacation rentals. Some of the items in the cupboards were dirty, not bad, just like someone didn't do a good job of washing. The gas wood stove heated up the main room fairly quickly, but the wall heaters were not sufficient to warm the rooms, especially the back room, which had a door to the outside, lacking weather stripping, causing cold air to blow onto the tile floor, making it freezing cold on your feet. I had to make a yoga mat/towel trail in the bathroom. I brought a space heater based on the last review and that was helpful. All floors are really cold because the flooring is likely (probably correctly) laid directly on concrete. They don't want shoes in the house so bring slippers.
All that said, I'd rent it again!
