Advertised as including a mother-in-law suite, really is so much more than that. Very private large suite is attached to a well-appointed home. Families or friends wanting controlled privacy allowing for shared or private experiences will appreciate the private entry and single adjoining doorway.Two complete kitchens. Plenty of utensils, high-end cooking equipment. Very nice cooking experience. Providing options catering to southern pallets, with both an air fryer and a Wagner cast iron skillet.Well taking care of furniture, with plenty of flexibility of use. Roku with guest settings in every location.Neighborhood is still being built in, they are adding direct access to the beach, right now. You do have to walk through the pool area to access the beach. Host was very accommodating, and contacted us multiple times during the stay to make sure that we had everything we needed. We did not have small children, however the beach was very conducive to it. Shallow calm water.The driveway is large enough for two large vehicles, however, if you have a third there is no street parking and you will need to park at the pool area parking lot. It is less than a block away, and very convenient.

Beautiful home, just had a few unfortunate issues

The property was very nice. The living room TV worked for the first night and an hour the next day, then the screen suddenly stopped working after breakfast. Unfortunately they were unable to replace during our 7 night/8 day stay, so that was a big bummer for my dad and son who were staying in the living room. Additionally, the kids room TV didn’t work at all, so that was also a bit of a let down in the evenings at bed time or when the kids wanted to relax. Unfortunately the home also had a very bad fire ant problem in the mother in law suite and the master bathroom, which was a huge inconvenience. We had to go out and buy any spray to spray all over the house due to how bad the fire ants were. Overall the place was beautiful, although the walk to the beach from there is exhaustingly long. The pool was right down the road so that was really nice. Didn’t really have enough in the fully stocked kitchen as expected for a place for 14 people. No oven mitts for cooking so we burned out hands quite a bit and the washing mashing in the mother in law suite did not work properly, so all 14 of us had to use one washing machine the whole week, which was okay, but again not what we paid for.

Great place to stay!!!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing and fun trip, look no further than here. The house is very spacious and clean! They have everything you need from the kitchen and bathrooms to the beach and pool. Sand toys and bikes, umbrellas, chairs and a wagon to pull it in!!! I’ve never stayed somewhere that had all this. Steps from a large pool and a short walk to the beach. The whole check-in and out process was very smooth and the owners are so nice and accommodating!! We will be back!!!

The best vacation ever

Let me first say that this property was the absolute PERFECT place for us to stay. My parents and their dog, my sister, her husband niece and nephew, and my husband and kids all had the best time. Bikes for the whole family, things to play with for everyone… list could go on and on. My mom hasn’t ridden a bike in years and was so excited to do so. The neighbor across the street, Mark is AMAZING and the sweetest. We will miss your house, your town, and your sweet neighbor dearly. Memories were made and we were so sad to leave. Until next time, because there will be a next time!

We wanted to love it but....

We loved the home, the furnishings were exquisite and everything in the home was PERFECT. But.... There was this hugely annoying beeeeeppppp from the back yard. We think (?) It was a gator pest type thing to make noise so the alligators wouldn't set up shop in the back yard... which was next to a small retaining pond. And the distance to the beach was not a short walk. I'm a slightly overweight, redheaded (so burn in 5 minutes, hide from sun type) and it took us 20 minutes of hard slugging chairs, towels, bags to the beach. I was a hot, sweaty, sunburned mess before we even hit the sand. The location of the beach isn’t the owner's fault. But I did find issue with the photo of pools and such and there were none near the house. It was in a completely different building location, about a mile away. So that wasn't something easy to walk to, either. Overall 100 glowing stars for the home and 0 for the location to the beach, pool, etc.and noise. Not easily walkable by anyone slightly out of shape or with small kids. Buy earplugs for the gator thingie, we found some at the Dollar General just down the road. Otherwise it's a loooonnnggg night.

Cozy Beach House Checks All the Boxes!

Our stay at the cozy beach house owned by Chris and Hanna was wonderful! We enjoyed the spacious and clean home, neighborhood amenities and nearby dog friendly beaches. The owners were very communicative and courteous to our trip priorities. It was a quiet and enjoyable stay for our family. I recommend this home highly for FL panhandle travelers with kids &/or pets.

Beautiful House, Quiet Neighborhood, Amazing Beach

This home was beautiful! It had lots of nice spaces and lots of beds (3 Kings, 2 twin bunks and a futon). The in-law suite was nice since we have a big family (nice to have 2 fridges since we cook all our own meals). The neighborhood is nice and it's not a long walk to the beach (it will be nicer when the boardwalks from the neighborhood through the dunes are finished). The heated neighborhood pool that was supposed to be open was not, which was a bit disappointing since the ocean was so cold. The beaches were pristine and beautiful with lots of shells and gorgeous sunsets. Lots of amenities in the area as it is close to Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe and Cape San Blas.

Everything we Needed!

Cozy Beach House" is perfectly named. The home was VERY comfortable and had everything needed for our friends' comfort. The home was also very spacious which was ideal for a group of 5 adults to have privacy and at the same time gather in the spacious common living area when desired. Chris was awesome in his responsiveness as well. We couldn't have asked for a nicer experience!

Wonderful Beach House, Wonderful Hosts

Beach house was beautiful with fully stocked kitchen. Great location within quick walking distance to Windmark South beach. Quick drive to Windmark Community Pool which was heated and crystal clear. Near to Port St Joe stores.

Quiet neighborhood and great location.

This was our first trip to Port St Joe area. Location of this home was in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit for our trip. This home has a great layout for the times we wanted to gather and if we needed a little alone time. The beds were amazing. Neighborhood was so quiet and was great for running and bike riding. Pool and beaches were just minutes away. We enjoy cooking and eating in so I would like to suggest adding more bakeware and cookware. Loved having 2 refrigerators. Communication was excellent and very timely when we had a couple of issues and I appreciated this. Oh and absolutely loved having access to a vacuum cleaner and broom for cleaning for our length of stay. This was a great stay and would love to stay here again!

Great space for family

The house was very clean. We had three families ranging in age from 8-65. The house accommodated everyone and gave us all our own space when needed. The location was convenient and the walk to the beach was as advertised. I would highly recommend this beautiful house.

Its a little hard to find from Pt St Joe. Not on google maps. But, a nice house. Lots of toys. Short walk to beach if you turn left out of the driveway and turn right after the last house. Beach is great. Very pleased with the house and host. Will try to book again.

Quit beach perfection

We so loved staying at your property! The beds were so comfortable. The space was perfect so my in laws could have their own space away from the games in the evening. Everything was super clean and there were plenty of supplies for fun at the beach. This is a great quiet location. A short walk over a couple grassy dunes lands you right on the beach away from the crowds. Lots of sea shells too! The arcade was a big hit with my kids too. We will be coming back.

AMAZING VACATION STAY!

Wow. this property was perfect for our short getaway. house was extremely clean, had plenty of space for all 8 of us and came with so many nice amenities. its located close to the beautiful beach and also to the village where all the shop was. host was extremely easy to communicate and made sure we were comfortable. Port st joe is a perfect tranquil beach area to get away from the busy markets like destin or Panama city. We will be back again !
