Could use some updates

We had a great vacation, but the home was in need of a few updates and a thorough cleaning. Had to rewash most dishes in the cabinets and there was mildew on the upstairs bathroom walls and ceiling. The owner is very communicative and the home has a beautiful view of the bay.

Great family vacation

We really enjoyed our family vacation ! We sat on the screened in back porch for the sunrise every morning with our coffee and it was beautiful!The location is nice because it is close to the park which made it easy to put in a boat and bring it to the dock at the house. The house does have an access across the street to get to the beach but we just enjoyed swimming at the park.I personally think the biggest bonus is having a host that is immediately responsive and really wants you to enjoy your vacation. Thanks to Kat!

Family vacation at Cape San Blas after Hurricane Helene

Really enjoyed the dock, and the short distance to the beach. We had a boat we used for fishing and the dock was great for that use. With no fault to the property we didn't catch many fish due to Hurricane Helene hitting on the prior week to our arrival. However, the property manager did an excellent job of getting the property ready post-hurricane which fortunately for us made landfall about a hundred miles away and limited its impact at Cape San Blas. We had regular updates from Katherine on the impact of Hurricane Helene before our arrival.

Loved This House!

Our family enjoyed our stay so much. We will definitely come back again. Located just one mile from St. Joseph’s State Park and Eagle Harbor and one mile from The Trading Post, this is the perfect location. We loved waking up to views of the beautiful bay. Every evening, we walked two blocks to the Gulf for amazing sunsets! We are on the large screened porch. The owner/manager Kathy was wonderful and communicated with me great! Thank you so much for sharing your paradise with us!

Repeat spot!

This is our family’s second time vacationing at Cape Breezes and we love it here. It’s a perfect size for 6 adults and 4 children (age 6 and under). The host is very respondent and accommodating. Each year we’ve all loved kayaking in the bay, finding sand dollars out in the sand bar, fishing, and hanging out on the porch and dock. We load up and head to the beach in minutes (there’s an access in walking distance but we have too much stuff with young kids). But alternate our days hanging out at the house/in the bay. We rented a boat one day and the tides/dock worked nicely. We love the quiet and chill nature of CSB and PSJ, with restaurants and groceries not terribly far, and hope to return next year!

Absolutely wonderful!

We had such a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed, I really loved the hoses outside to clean up with after the beach. I had my coffee with the crabs every morning, they were a joy to watch! We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at the Bayhouse.

The house had a roomy screened in porch with the Bay breeze coming through To the living room. , which we enjoyed immensely. The dock out onto the bay was perfect to dock our carolina skiff for a bit of flats fishing. The upstairs bedrooms overlooked the water, had a super comfortable mattress, nice linens and there was plenty of pillows. We would book this place again but with more people, the house is roomy and would definitely be a great place for our extended family.

We love this area and this was a great place to stay! Loved being on the bay and waking up to the sunrise from the bed! Walk to beach was quick enough and having the kayaks at the house for the bay was a huge plus! We hope to be back soon!

Our family had a blast enjoying this great house. We loved the bay and having a dock for a boat for the week. The only recommendation we have would be to add some seating out by the dock or perhaps even a deck that’s not covered so you can enjoy more of the sunshine.

Good property but some issues

This property was accurately listed, had a good location, and we had a really good time. I would have given it a better rating except there was many broken things in the property. Kayak paddles broken/missing, lightbulbs missing, porch door broken, closet doors broken and leaning on wall, kitchen faucet lose, etc. I will say that Stephanie the manager was extremely responsive and brought new paddles and lights over quickly and offered to fix these items which was very much appreciated. I’m not sure if the prior renters were just very tough on the place, or if the cleaning company was not informing them that things were broken, but it was a bit strange. Overall it’s a nice house and we loved the dock

we had a great time the yard had not been cut in weeks their was trash in the yard their was a snake on the porch ants in the down stair bunk bed, and in the pantry roaches outside and inside rats down stairs
