The house was a dream and fit our family perfect. The view was amazing and directly on the beach. The beach was wide and secluded and gave our little ones plenty space to run and play. We did seafood takeout which was pretty convenient. Lynn was great to communicate with and took care of all of our needs very timely. 10/10.
Our host promptly communicated with us whenever we had questions. Would highly recommend this rental. Itâs a beautiful place to stay with all the amenities plus more.
Could not use the pool much as it is in shade most of the day and it was too chilly to enjoy using it as much as we had hoped. The location is beautiful but the black flies on the beach in the daytime were a drawback. The house is very nice and accommodated us well. Gorgeous views from all the decks and windows.
The house layout is great for a large family trip. The beach is quiet and clean. The pool is a great size and we appreciated Lynn turning on the pool heater as it was quite cold. We felt that the house needs some TLC and had a few hiccups during our trip; bats living under two balconies, kitchen mitt had holes causing me to burn my hand, grill was out of propane, dishwasher was full upon arrival, saw more bugs than I would have liked, and you can tell thereâs been water damage in the house previously but there was an active leak while we were there. Upon notifying Dylan and Lynn I did not hear back, but the maintenance guy went into the house without notifying us until after.Donât get me wrong - the trip was great, but for what we paid I was a little disappointed.
Outstanding property, right on the beach! The four en-suite king bedrooms and two bunk rooms were perfect for a whole family getaway. There was plenty of room on the open main floor for all 14 of us to gather. Loved all the outdoor seating options on the deck overlooking the beach, as well as around the pool - which, of course, was a huge hit with the kids. Loved the proximity to the sand and the relatively few stairs needed to get over the dunes. The area is quiet and the beach almost felt private with all the space we had. Would absolutely stay at this property again. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet spot for a multi-family gathering, and are ok with an area that doesnât have a ton of âtouristyâ attractions nearby.
This was our first âon the beachârental and it did not disappoint. No house is perfect but the set up on the very quiet beach was amazing. Lynn was very responsive when I contacted her and our local contact âguyâ was so nice! He helped with the pool/spa and asked if we needed anything. The ability to walk just a few steps to the beach was exactly what I was looking for! Coffee every morning on the decks was so relaxing. We loved Port St. JoeâŠgood memories madeâŠI think we will come back!
We loved Good Day Sunshine! House was nicely stocked but bring your own beach chairs. Beds were comfy and lots of room. Location is perfect to all the things. Be mindful if you have a low car, we got rain the first week and the giant puddle lasted the entire month at the end of the drive way. We hope to be back next year, it was our best house we have stayed at.
The house had so much provided that it was a relief travelling there. The toiletries and dishes were provided as well as the beach towels and towels for the house. This house was amazing
From the moment we stepped into the elevator and arrived to the 1st floor living area everything was perfect! The view took our breath away as we looked out the ceiling to floor windows and saw the beautiful beach and ocean! The chefs kitchen had everything we could need to prepare our meals. The bedroom offered comfortable sleeping bedding! We will absolutely return soon!
This property worked great for our every two year cousin family beach Thanksgiving gathering. The location was perfectly set with spectacular beach access and stunning sunset views. The house accommodated our five families (18 people) with a few beds to spare. The pool and hot tub were a big hit.Only suggestion would be to have another refrigerator and a few more living area chairs.
The house is amazing and just as described. My husband and two adult sons (one who is autistic and non-verbal) and our two beloved dogs had a truly wonderful week. Can't say enough about the house, the beach and the quiet during this time of year. Almost no one there. We never even went into Port St. Joe, just ate the food we brought and hit up the raw bar a few nights. More dogs than people, which is always good. The bear-in-the garbage issue is real. But we kind of made a game of it to see if we could outsmart the bear(s). We spent 30 years going to Grayton and Seagrove beaches and Indian Pass reminds us of how quiet and beautiful those two beaches were long ago. I hope Indian Pass remains "forgotten" because it's how we want to experience the beach. Thank you for a truly wonderful week. I hope we can come back sooner than later.
