Property location was great. Very nice condo. Well stocked kitchen. They had really nice beach chairs and beach toys for the kids if you bring kids. The main bed room and main bath was very clean. The second bathroom floor was full of other people’s hairs. The kitchen and living room was full of sand. Countertops and couch was sticky. Baseboards were very dirty. No propain in gas grill. Their paperwork said basically to simply stop your expensive vacation and use your car gas to go purchase them propain. They will hopefully reimburse you after your trip. Maybe I should paint their condo for them while I’m there on vacation as well. Actually, it’s a very nice condo in a very nice location. If they had a better cleaning company it would be 5-stars for sure. I hope they get that worked out. Also I would like to mention to the owners that all the neighbors used their outdoor shower without asking and got sand everywhere as well. Should probably have lock, or placard stating to use their own shower.

We’ve stayed at Barrier Dunes multiple times. This was the best location in the complex so far. You have a partial view of the water and a great view of the sunset. There were only two of us. The guest bed set up may not be right for everyone with the queen bunk bed. We’ve stayed in a couple of condos there that have added a barn door at the top of the stairs in the main bedroom, which would cut down on noise from the living area.We also noticed a very musty smell upon entering and in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Great time

We had a wonderful time at Tipsy Turtle. Location is great. Beautiful view, clean, and as described. Property managers are very responsive. We had an issue occur in the evening with the AC and they immediately responded and took care of the problem. We will be back.

perfect location

my husband and our shih tzus stayed for 3 nights, amazing unit! on one side of unit is beach view and on other pickle ball courts and pool. short walk to all! very family friendly atmosphere. property is gated. owner is very responsive and accommodating. i would love to stay again, hopefully in near future!

Great week at the beach!

Barrier Dunes is a great spot. We will absolutely return again. The Tipsy Turtle was a good, solid condo rental for my kids and I. Plenty of space, perfect spot for easy beach and pool access and beautiful views off the back porch. The neighborhood is super friendly and felt very safe. The kids and I loved our week at the beach here. Only one small complaint - the beds aren't the most comfortable and deff bring your own pillows.

Our second year in a row booking this unit. Location is great! The unit is well equipped! We love that it has 2 queen beds in the second bedroom. Cable Tv was great! Little things like the best beach supply closet of anywhere, hair dryer, spices and other provided kitchen items, etc! We hope to keep returning to this place!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our week. We had everything we needed. We knew to bring some things with us because check in instructions were very clear and detailed. I love my bag from the owner! Such a sweet thing to take time to make them for your guests. We hope to be back soon!

Super cute townhouse. Really nice location within the neighborhood. The owners are very welcoming. I think the rug in the master could use a cleaning but otherwise it was clean and comfortable. I wasn’t a fan of the shower floor but that could be just me. The ac unit is a bit loud but we were not hot. The extra small stand alone unit in the master was nice. It would be nice to have totally separate units but I’m sure that’s on the owners wish list. Overall our stay was nice.

Tipsy Turtle for the WIN!

This condo if perfect for the family and dog. Walk off the back deck to a grassy area perfect for the pup. Short stroll to the beach and both pools. The beach and water are beautiful. I’m a sand snob and the Cape did not disappoint! Interior of the condo was lovely! We enjoyed the split level with the teens on the first floor and grownups upstairs. The master bedroom did not have a door which was odd but not a deal breaker. Condo has everything we needed! Even had dog bowls and pet towels for our furbaby. Plenty of beach items too: chairs, toys, boogie boards, floats, etc. This gated community doesn’t allow swimming in the pool after dusk which was disappointing as we love night swim. I’ve never booked a rental twice but I plan to stay here again! Well worth it! Thanks Carolyn for answering all my questions and accommodating our needs.

Spring break

Couldn’t have had a better time. Location of the property is great! Enjoyed coffee each morning looking at the gulf. My teenage granddaughters loved the queen bunk beds. However, we NEEDED more towels than 1 each. Towels are check, buy more. I brought an extra for each but still! We cooked a few meals. Would loved a meat thermometer. Plenty of other kitchen gadgets. Had zero issues with any problem of the unit.
