This is our favorite place to stay! Farm with sweet goats- beautiful views and really comfortable accommodations! I was raised in a cabin like these- quaint and cozy. I wish there were more places like this to stay.â€ïž Everything you need is thoughtfully offered for cooking and relaxing and a DVD/VCR for watching a movie! There was even popcorn! We canât wait to come back soon! đ
You sometimes get what you paid for. We didn't get a lot but we also didn't pay a lot. For one person I think this would be an okay place for a night. For the 3 of us it was pretty tight and uncomfortable at times. The TV was in the bedroom and I was trying to sleep while the others watched a movie. Not ideal. It's a very old motel/cottages and they have not been maintained that well. I get the feeling the owner isn't able to do a lot. The view outside the cottage was nice and the main road close by wasn't all that noisy inside.
This was the weirdest and worst experience. We arrived and was greeted by a man who said letâs check you in. Took my money than told us itâs gonna be about an hourâŠ. They were changing the furnace???? Check in was supposed to be at 2pm. We left at 4pm and had to get another hotel. They were still working on it when we left. No one check in on us⊠we never got out keysâŠ. We never saw the inside of our unit that we paid for. I do not understand why this property is on Expedia. I tried getting a refund and Expedia canât get a hold of this property so they are trying to deny our money. EVEN THOUGHT WE HAD TO BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL THAT SAME NIGHT!!! EXPEDIA HAS NOT BEEN HELPFUL AND NEITHER HAS THIS PROPERTYâŠ.. Do not stay here in hopes of getting a roomâŠ
Originally, I found this little gem while I was searching for accommodation around the Port Townsend area with two beds (two friends traveling, not a couple). I like to stay at places that are a little different, I read the reviews here, and decided to book it.
Our little cabin was spotless. Super clean. The towels were fresh and fluffy. Lots of extra amenities. A stove and fridge. And even popcorn! A vintage TV and VCR! The beds were OK, there were extra pillows. And if youâre lucky, youâll get to see the goats on the property.
It was a fun stay, almost like a trip back into the 70s in the very best way. Super affordable. And really nice people.
Great host - easy check in and friendly. Could use some shampoo in the cottages and lids for the pots and pans, and a spatula, other than that great service.
This property had no amenities. The heat did not work properly (the property manager worked on it for 20 minutes to get it to turn on), it is a very old gas furnace that was not very functional or safe, we went from freezing to 90 degrees, we could not turn the furnace off. The furniture (what there was of it) was very old, torn and not very clean. I don't understand why this place got such great rating because it was terrible. We went to have a nice night away from home, but ended up staying up half the night because we were fearful of carbon monoxide poisoning from the faulty gas furnace. It amazes me that Expedia allows such poorly maintained and unsafe properties to be rented from their site. I took numerous pictures of the cottage, because the pictures on Expedia are outdated and not correct.
The cabins and location were fine. However the amenities were not what I expected. There were pots, pans and dishes but no supplies. Bring you own salt, oil, etc as well as food to cook The heat eidn't seem to work and the hot water was hit and miss - mostly miss for the shower. No shampoo, hair dryer, internet or tv connection The tv was only for dvds which they had qute a selection.
The cabins were definitely dated.
A compact cabin on a hill overlooking a bay with all that was needed for a nice night's stay. It was a good value. The room was clean with everything we needed including coffee and a bag of microwave popcorn.
6000 mile trip. Probably our favorite location. Quiet. Loved watching the goats.
Is a tv. No signal or cabel. If head that way again will take a dvd player along.
Cute little cottage. Has all amenities except A/C. Too many mosquitoes to keep open the windows. Bathroom was updated nicely. Just a nice barebones little cottage . Price is right. We stayed 3 nights and I would have stayed longer!
