Schöne Wohnung im dritten Stock am East End, nur wenige Schritte von der herrlichen Ostpromenade entfernt. GemĂŒtlich und niedlich, befindet sich dieser entzĂŒckende Ort in der Nachbarschaft, die die besten Restaurants, Brauereien und CafĂ©s der Stadt zu Fuß erreichen kann. In einer ruhigen Wohnstraße gibt es ausreichend ParkplĂ€tze. Die Innenstadt und der Alte Hafen sind ca. 15 Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt.
Diese Wohnung befindet sich im dritten Stock des Hauses. Angrenzend an das Wohnzimmer befindet sich eine private Terrasse. Die KĂŒche und der Wohnbereich haben einen schönen, offenen Grundriss mit Oberlichtern, die viel natĂŒrliches Licht einlassen. This was a last minute trip and also my first time using VRBO so everything was new to me. I was given clear check in instructionsupon booking. Walked into the unit and was greeted by lovely snacks and a personalized greeting card that was appreciated. The space was very clean and tidy I love the skylights and how sunny it was. A lovely veiwtio to get some fresh aituhe bed was very comfortable and I had a quick question about visitors and Jennifer was very quick to respond communication has been a breeze with her. My trip ended up being extended and the space that I was in was already booked but I looked on the app and she had other units that were available that were in my price range and she facilitated stress-free switch to her other unit with no downtime in between I was able to go right from one unit to the other even though the unit I was going to was rented the night before need to be cleaned she was very accommodating let me check out late at the current unit then let me know when the unit I was transferring to was ready for me. The bed was very comfortable I slept so well . There was no oven in the kitchen but they provided a microwave and a toaster oven.

Nice place. Comfortably sleeps 2 and three if you have a friend willing to sleep on a roll-away or air mattress. Lots of stairs, like notable narrow attic stairs.

Offering listing showed photo of view looking over a patio to a water view. the house is six houses from the water; the view from the old deck is rooftops and trees. There were tiny bits of blue water through the leaves. The stairs to the second-floor landing were fine; the additional eleven stairs to the apartment door (no landing) have 10 inch risers, making the clime difficult. the stairs have 22 inches between the railing and the wall adding to the difficulty.. I had to drag the carry-on luggage behind me rather than carry it. the apartment was pleasant and clean. The kitchen nook lacked a stove or heating option limiting breakfast to toast and microwave heating options. The WIFI never worked; I was unable to find it at first on the list of available networks; when it finally appeared it indicated that I was out of range. I mentioned this to Jennifer and she said that the router was on the first floor and the system had an interruption: I was unable to connect any time during my stay. The offering listed a variety of TV sources but no instructions on how to access them. I feel that the photo was misleading and it was an intentional scam; I hold Jennifer, Kaitlin and VRBO accountable. I believe the water view picture has been removed and the offering now shows the front of the building.

Perfect little apartment, perfect for a five day stay with my husband. The balcony was a lovely addition and the hosts were responsive and helpful. Overall I’d recommend to anyone looking for a quiet location within walking distance to the downtown area and only a block or two from the eastern promenade.

Echt een super verblijf gehad bij Jennifer. Alles was super netjes en alles wat we nodig hadden was er. Centrum Portland en ook Washington Avenue met veel leuke restaurantjes op loopafstand. Zelfs nog even gezwommen bij het strandje. Echt een aanrader als je van Portland wilt genieten.

These hosts are so gracious and helpful! It was a nice spot to land for a few nights in Portland. It is as advertised, as far as the very steep stairs and quaint size, which was absolutely fine for us. The only issue we had was with the air conditioning only cooling down the bedroom. The rest of the space was very hot. We were thankful we slept in the cool, at least, but couldn’t enjoy a movie (only tv is in the living room) or just hang out anywhere but the bedroom. We weren’t in the space a ton, so it wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but may be for some. We plan another night there at the end of our stay, so clearly, we do enjoy this cute, well-appointed, little loft. Thanks Jennifer! You were lovely to deal with for our stay.

Too hot for comfort.

I don’t really want to complain because the host were so wonderful. But when we arrived at the place, it was not on the second floor, but on the third floor of a house. The stairs going up three flights were very narrow and very steep. When we got into the place, it was so hot even though there was a little air conditioner in the bedroom no air reached the living room where one of us would’ve been staying. We called the host and they were so gracious to allow us to leave with a promise that they would reimburse us. They did acknowledge that this was the hottest time of the year and that they understood if we were not able to stay there. They did ask that we notify you so that you can begin the process of reimbursing us. Thank you very much.

A night in my college city

What a cute VERY well kept one bedroom apartment. It was the perfect quiet spot for me to get some work and homework done before mettinf friends for dinner. The location is walking distance away from anything you wish to do or eat in Portland, and the VIEW is breathtaking. From the subtle ambiance the hosts took the time to make just right to the cleanliness of the overall space, you will not find a better fit for a one or two person location. It was just what I needed and imagined for my one night away. I returned home refreshed and the space had a lot to do with that.
